Heavily modified version of the Crusader, named the Templar, is the latest addition to Bretonia Armed Forces. Very heavy fighters of this type are built in an effort to stop Corsair expansion into Bretonia space. Armor capacity of this ship is rumored to be superior to any other very heavy fighter in Sirius, however, just like Corsairs' Titan, it lacks maneuverability.

Review The Bretonian Government must have done something right in their time, and the Templar is easily one of them. With one of the highest armor ratings for the fighter class, this ship is a real monster, even though there is some obvious drawbacks. For one, its slow. And with all that armor, for some reason they forgot to make the powercore large enough to support firing weapons for that long. Its powercore is severely un proportionate to its size, speed and armor. It's recommended that Adv. Splitter be used with this ship, as the power usage is light and the speed can help. Jousting is also very effective with this ship, as it uses its superior armor and most of the time firepower to gain the advantage.
