A daring racer on the Battleship Hood Dexter Hovis was a well connected man within the Dublin system and the IMG. However, he would only respect someone if they could perform on the track. When Edison Trent visited him in 800 A.S., Hovis challenged him to a race. Trent was the first and only person to ever beat Hovis. Hovis respected Trent after that, and gave him all the information on Roland Quintaine that he needed. To this day he continues to race on the Hood.
