Perpignan Spaceport was built in 818 A.S. as a framework for a future trading outpost in the Roussillon system. Currently, since not much trade actually takes place along the war-torn Tau systems, it serves as a supply station and a defensive hub to keep the system secured from possible intruders. The spaceport is located on the edge of the Ariege Barrier Nebula, a massive cloud of water ice crystals and inert gases.
