Built upon the back of the lessons learned during the first truly large scale battles in which Gallic forces were committed, the Cougar is vastly improved in every conceivable way than the largely theoretical forbear launched against usurped Royal Navy capital ships during the war.

Review The BXJ-5 is the Royal Navy's primary anti-capital class and should be used as such. Much less agile than the XJ-3, the BXJ-5 requires fighter escort when engaged in combat. Two skilled pilots piloting the BXJ-5 may remove a ship of Cruiser class, though as many as three or four may be needed in battleship encounters. With the Royal Navy's emphasis on superior technology, a single Cougar will have no problem against a lone gunboat. It is not recommended that pilots engage in anti-fighter combat, though experienced pilots may make use of its superior torpedo technology in these circumstances.
