A fine example of ancient means of destruction brought back to life with modern technologies, the Maxim is a recent "re-addition” to fighter arsenals all across Sirius. It is a simple, easy to use rotary cannon that uses modern, tungsten-based armour-piercing ammunition to shred its targets to pieces. Although unmatched when it comes to breaking through heavy armour, its reliance on kinetic force severly diminishes its lethality against energy-based defenses, such as standard-issue shields present on almost any spaceship.
