When Casablanca Base was established by the Corsairs in 811 A.S. at Planet Rabat, the Red Hessians soon realised the threat it posed to undermine their front in Omega 5. They then initiated a tactical assault on the base in which they were successful, and ever since the system has seen nothing but conflict between the two groups. Since the assault at Casablanca the Hessians have installed a new base near Planet Tangier in hopes going planetside there. As a counter the Corsairs brought the Battleship Fes into the system to guard the jump hole to Omega 41. So far the fight has turned to a stalemate and the primary conflict continues in Omega 5
The Zoners have shown little interest in the system despite holding a presence in two of the three surrounding systems. Although the hightened presence of Corsair warships in Omega 41 has raised suspicion, the zoners still hold Neutrality on the matter.
One or two attacks have been made on each side by the Phantoms here, but not as much as expected since they are regularly spotted within the system

An outcropping of Walker nebula that remained after formation of star system.
Asteroid Fields
Melilla Debris Field
Remote field of ancient asteroids.
El Aaiun Field
Remote field of rock asteroids, often used by Corsairs as a staging point to attack Red Hessians at Casablanca. Red Hessians used the same field during their outrageous assault against Casablanca several years ago, when they destroyed Corsair defences and captured the base.
