Perpignan Spaceport was built in 818 [[A.S.]] as a framework for a future trading outpost in the Roussillon system. Currently, since not much trade actually takes place along the surrounding war-torn region, it serves as a supply station and a defensive hub to keep the system secured from possible intruders.
