The Order is a paramilitary organization dedicated to the defeat of the Slomon K'Hara (Nomads) within the Sirius Sector.
Synopsis
History
The organization we call The Order was founded by the last uninfested member of the otherwise unrelated Order of Cincinnatus. The Order of Cincinnatus was founded in 28 A.S. It was a secret branch of the Liberty government that was originally created to research the Alien Artifacts found on Planet Manhattan and also establish an autocratic government over Liberty if and only if Liberty's existence itself was threatened. Once the threat had passed or been dealt with, The Order of Cincinnatus was intended to disappear entirely - it was effectively a shadow government with extensive knowledge of Alien Artifacts and technology, and later, Nomads themselves.
During the Nomad War, the Order of Cincinnatus was infected by the Nomads - all, that is, except for a certain member named Casper Orillion. He began to speak out against the threat of the Nomads as it became more and more apparent that they posed a threat, but his colleagues within the LSF were already infected and responded to him as a danger to their operations - as did the rest of the Order of Cincinnatus, who had also been infected. he fled to Planet Toledo in the Omicron Minor System with the Osiris Prototype.
