The Agitator was originally conceived by a short-lived Imperial Shipping subdivision as the main gun for a speculative civilian retrofit of the Oder gunboat in the golden years of the Rheinland Empire. The collapse of the Empire, and subsequent ‘disappearance’ of most of the design bureau stalled the project indefinitely. Whilst the design for the gunboat is lost to history, the forward gun was not. Statistically Indistinguishable, if more eccentrically engineered, than the Military’s own Brummbär, Unioner economising has increased the emissive signature of the cannon, resulting in a recognisable, if terrifying, barrel flash.
