The Rogue leaders decided to move the destroyer, lovingly dubbed "Drunken Codger", to the heart of Liberty. The main use of this was to use the Destroyer as a rearming, staging and repairing outpost, conveniently hidden near the major trade arteries in the system. The destroyer often became a loot drop-off point for raiders, protecting their stolen goods until they could ship them en masse to Rochester or Buffalo and beyond for profit. Despite its intimidating appearance, the ship often has something breaking down and its true capabilities are never certain.

When the Rogues presence was firmly established in New York thanks to Buffalo Base, the Drunken Codger was stirred from its inebriated rest and redeployed into the Texas system in early 824 A.S. where the Rogues intended to use the ship to further expand their influence, and hopefully, their profits. The destroyer is often frequented by pirate freighters and damaged raiders. There was concern that the location could be easily discovered if they wanted to break pursuit, but the leaders dismissed it by saying "Don't lead them there then, genius!"

However, as time has gone on, the Freeport 2 Incident has since caused the Rogues to move the Drunken Codger to Bering to monitor the system and prevent any lawful destruction or capture of their new joint installation.

With an ever-increasing presence of Police and Navy patrols, raiding New York's Trade Lanes became ever more difficult and dangerous. Eventually, the Rogue ringleaders had enough of their raiding parties dying or getting captured due to their ships malfunctioning mid-fight or guns falling off.

Yet as the year draws to a close the Drunken Codger was again redeployed, this time moving into the Bering system, taking residence within the Tanner Belt. From this new vantage point, the Rogues attempt to assert control and influence over the disorganized Pirate raider groups who have occupied Freeport 2, as well as asserting dominance over the remaining Zoner population.
