Once the home to the Bretonia Armed Forces in Dublin, the Essex was the gatekeeper to New London, providing security to the multitude of miners in-system and scanning all ships that passed through the Jump Gate for illicit Gold shipments smuggled from Bretonia Mining and Manufacturing (BMM) operations.
Due to the Gallic Royal Navy's all-out assault in New London, the Bretonian Armed Forces have finally recalled the Essex from its long standing orders in Dublin to face the invading fleets. Finally out of Bretonia's backyard, the Essex and its supporting forces are now eager for front-line combat.
