Battleship missiles are an absolute must have for captains hoping to survive a hostile cruiser encounter. Cruisers are designed to combat battleships from a range which makes the battleships large silhouette and slow speed a massive disadvantage. Battleship missiles may seem slow, but they are not nearly as slow as you think, Even the Kusari Destroyer -as nimble as it is- has problems avoiding these weapons, and when/if they hit, they HIT hard. Used in pairs this weapon is easily capable of drastically reducing the combat effectiveness of hostile Cruiser and sometimes even unaware gunboat vessels, putting them back on the defensive and often transforming them into hulks of burning steel very quickly. Used best when the targeting a weapon or hardpoint on an enemy ship as this missiles do incredible amounts of damage and can easily remove Thrusters, Countermeasures and Cruise Disruptors from a Hostile target, rendering them incapacitated and easy fodder for your main weaponry.
