When the war against Kusari started in 814 A.S., the Bretonia Armed Forces had no bombers to counter numerous Kusari capital ships that invaded Tau-31. Bretonian engineers had only two years to design and start building a new Bretonian bomber. Based on the Templar Very Heavy Fighter model, the Challenger is one of the most powerful bombers available in Sirius. Although expensive to produce, it has already proven itself a formidable weapon against both Kusari and Gallic capital ships.

Handling

Review (4.88)

Challenger is a ship which excels in half of the things, while being totally garbage in others. First of all, it's Armor is okay, the Guns placement is perfect, and it's quite nicely built which makes it much harder to hit than other Heavy Bombers. However, the Snac placement is terrible, being almost on the end of wings. Agility is also poor, even for a Heavy Bomber. All in all a solid ship, but the Snac mount really kills its potential.

Pros: Guns placement, Size

Cons: Snac placement, Agility

Rating: 6/10
