Reduced mass makes this fighter very responsive to all strafing manuevers, while its grand total of seven forward firing guns (6 guns, 1 turret) enables it to deliver more firepower than most VHFs would be capable of. Despite its speed and firepower however, one will quickly notice that the Sabre is not the smallest of fighters, and its energy reactor limits its firepower potential. While an almost even match for the Titan, the Sabre needs to nonetheless work a lot more to outmanuever enemy ships and is therefore best suited for skilled pilots. Sabre is well armed. All 7 guns can shoot forward. Class 10 weaponry works good on it, just dont shoot if you're not sure to hit. It strafes good. But, it is big and it's easy to hit it. Skilled pilot knows how to "take a higher ground" and will use it with big pleasure. But... you are not skilled pilot? No pleasure? Keep reading. Outcasts and Corsairs can use Sabre. Both factions developed superior pulse weapons. Use it. Make good anti-shield setup with Coladas or Infernos, like this: - For Corsairs: 4 Coladas, 3 Salamancas (just for defence), Mini-Razor, Nuclear Mines and good CM (in case you step on a gunboat willing to use your low skill and wipe you out). - For Outcasts: 7 mighty Krakens, Inferno, Screamer Mines and good CM. Than find a friend with another sabre. Find another friend with nice pirate transport, equipped with CD. Plunder freely and make a fortune. Use Hit-and-Run strategy, NEVER stay on one place and don't forget to protect your transport. Make your path to the stars - until got caught and hanged (maybe never).Error creating thumbnail: Unable to save thumbnail to destination Review by Pepe |
