The TEW-BT is a heavy fighter/freighter turret the Colonial military adapted from the IMG "Vampire" series of tachyon weapons. Overcharging the emitters resulted in a higher damage output, but the firing rate and energy efficiency both suffered. This is the heaviest tachyon turret the Republic has to offer.
