Perpignan Spaceport was built in 818 A.S. as a framework for a future trading outpost in the Roussillon system. Currently, since not much trade actually takes place along the war-torn Tau systems, it serves as a supply station and a defensive outpost with long-range energy weapons that can be used to secure the system from possible intruders. The Spaceport is located in the very edge of the Ariege Barrier Nebula, a massive cloud of water ice crystals and inert gases.
