The Nomad controlled Rheinland fleet that assaulted Kusari was equipped with one Nomad Power Cell. This device was given to them by the Nomads somewhere in the Sigmas in 800 A.S. By some miracle the Cell has survived the War with Kusari, fighting The Order and un-infested Rheinland forces, and being hunted by the Red Hessians. When Das Wilde regathered in the Omegas they began building a Nomad Jump Gate to provide direct access to the new Nomad home systems.

The Power Cell is needed to collect silicate matter from nearby planetoids and asteroid fields required to complete the construction of the massive Gate. However, unexpected usage of the Cell has lead to hazardous consequences for the whole Omega-58 system. Right now, the Cell has collapsed into a small but rapidly increasing black hole. In a matter of months the Cell will consume the whole system, yet somehow it still fulfills its original role and maintains the configuration of the Nomad Gate, which is almost complete.

Notes

  • 1 unit of Nomad Power Cell takes up 10 units of space in your cargo hold.
