Biography

Born on planet Leeds, Pete Levine soon moved with his family to planet Cambridge at the age of two. His dad, Richard Levine, having found a new job at New London. This was something he had been looking for ever since his wife, Annette Levine Bailey got pregnant. His father worked at one of the local transport companies on the planet, him mainly handling the paperwork that was required to make transportation of the goods happen. Pete knew what he wanted when he saw the logistical world that his dad was working in, he wanted to become part of this world. But what he didn't want was being at the sideline at a desk. This made him decide to follow the course to become a space pilot. He completed this on 31st of October, 810 A.S. at the age of 21.

Jennifer Palmer

With the logistical background of his dad he set off by being a escort pilot on freelance basis for Transports and other commercial traffic within Bretonia. He visited all sorts of bases around Bretonia and when he wasn't flying and away from home nothing stopped him from visiting a local pub. Here he met his future wife, Jennifer Palmer. You didn't have to be a genius to see that they both had feeling for each other. And after some passionate nights and getting to know each other better they eventually married a year later on the 12th of December 812.

Their marriage seemed like it was the perfect one, and perhaps it was until Jennifer wanted to really found a family with children. They tried but never succeeded, later medical tests revealed that Pete was infertile and thus unable to get his pregnant. They tried all sorts of things to get a child of their own but none of the medical treatments for Pete worked. Neither did Pete want to step to a donor child or adopt one, feeling it would hurt his pride and thinking he could never really feel the dad over this child. The hassle this caused put a lot of strain on their marriage and relationship, but also at his job. Him having turned to being a Transport pilot, helping transport captains to navigate through areas they didn't know as well. Him being specialized at certain dangerous parts of space that caused navigational hazards. Areas such as the Omegas, Taus and Omicrons.

By chance Jennifer did get pregnant when they were married for five years. Pete felt something was off as he thought it couldn't be his. When he kept asking about he finally got Jennifer to confess that she had cheated on him, this eventually backfiring on himself as he didn't plan to get divorced, still loving her and saying he'd forgive her. But Jennifer didn't want to move on with it. Eventually they did get a divorce and Jennifer moved in with the real father of the child she was carrying.

Independent Miners Guild

Pete felt like his world was breaking down all around him, which lead him to decide he wanted to get out of Bretonia. He moved to the Taus and found himself a job in the Independent miners guild (IMG). Here he was both part of the para-military and the transport division of the Guild. Transport ores all around Sirius to their refineries and as a pilot of the para-military he earned more experience as a combat pilot against the Outcasts in the Taus and the Corsairs in the Omegas. The more he got into his work the better he got at forgetting what had happened but in the silent moments he still wished he was married with his ex. In these situations he forced his mind back work and by doing this he managed to move on even though it caused a lot of stress.

After having worked two years for the Guild he left due to the standards the Guild was enforcing. he didn't like the way the Guild handled certain things when it came to their employees but also their enemies and competitors. Neither did he see any bright future in the Guild when it came to earning a promotion. All in all he didn't feel at home and went to search for a new job he perhaps would feel more content with.

Liberty Navy

After having acquired a apartment on Los Angeles in the California system he joined the Navy. Starting a new journey as he had to began from Recruit. For the first time he had to fight lawful forces, these being from Rheinland origin as Liberty and Rheinland were still at war. Having survived the first encounters with Rheinland and seen how the war was going he figured he picked the right job. Feeling like he could at least make a difference around these front and when the front was quiet make a difference within the Liberty core systems. Patrolling the lanes to keep pirates away and keep the Traders safe. It was something he used to do in his early days as a pilot.

He had been promoted to Ensign after his first tasks has been completed, after that he applied to the Logistic branch of the Navy. Where he had been assigned to the LLS Odyssey. This addition to his job with the Navy made him like the job only more and got him to sink in, and be able to focus on other things than his past. Although when at home in the silent moments he still couldn’t keep himself from lingering back into his memories. Feeling there was still something missing even when he currently felt content with his job and life, telling himself there wasn’t much he could complain about.

Shortly after he had proven himself as Ensign, he was promoted to Lieutenant. A rank he wouldn’t hold himself onto for long, at least not within the Primary Navy as his past quickly caught back onto him. Issues with his ex Jennifer Palmer lead her back to Pete. This got him to be stuck with Jessica, the daughter of Jennifer, as she had left her at his place in a desperate attempt to find someone to take care of Jessica as she herself felt unable too. All of this came at the same time he had been looking after a girl named Nydia Dahl, a girl he had bailed from Rheinland in the hope to make her life better. He often questioned himself why he had bothered to actually get involved with her life. These doubts only became more when Nydia expressed her feeling towards Pete, telling him she loved him and wanted more. He however had issues in accepting this, finding her too young for himself as well as be afraid of yet another story breaking down into a drama due to feelings.

Things did however settle themselves after a rather hard struggle. Jessica was settling with the parents of Pete. Nydia was somewhat happy even though still on Pete’s skin, something he told himself to simply accept and go with for now. The bailing of Nydia hadn’t come with consequences either, as people had tried to get her back. With several lives taken, and two toes of Pete less, he had managed to clear the way for a calmer life for Nydia. Not that he felt proud about having to kill people for it, but he had been forced into taking these actions, at least that’s what he told himself.

Due to his rather complicated situation at home, he had decided to drop back some in his work. This had him transferred to a reserve squadron of the Navy. The so called Soaring Ducks squadron, also known as the 36th. More pilots that had issues where placed in this squadron, not that he cared much of who were there as he was mostly flying on his own initiative anyway. He remained to be active in the Navy logistical department, although here he also got transferred to the Secondary.

Timeline
