The Paladin is the result of years of painstaking research and development in the weapons labs of Sunderland Research Station. Utilising many of the technologies that make the Templar and Hussar essential Bretonian assets, the Paladin attempts to find a happy middle-ground between these two prestigious ships. Boasting a revolutionary combination of agility and firepower, the Paladin has found favour among the BAF's skirmishers and scouts who need to strike fast and hit harder.
Having first seen heavy action in the Bretonian-Kusari war, veteran Paladin fighter pilots often find themselves the better asset to counter the agile Gallic fightercraft then their Templar counterparts.

Review
The current Paladin is one of the most suitable bretonian fighters for any situation. The ship is small, agile and in the hands of skillful pilot - deadly. As heavy fighter it lacks energy pool and regeneration. Because of that a recommended weapon setup would be 2 debilators class 8 and 4 splitters class 9 separated in two weapon groups. One weapon group for all 6 guns and Second weapon group for only splitters. The torpedo slot is placed above the ship's cockpit with a very good and similar to templar's arc making it excellent choice for a Mini Razor. If you compare the Pladin's armor with other heavy fighters you will find it on third place after the corsair's Gladiator and Gallic Navy's Serval. With universal armor upgrade 8 the Paladin can have 21 500 armor points which allow it to survive a direct Mini Razor hit or a Nuclear Mine.
