It has a hull strength of 125,000 (which increases to either 312,500 with a MK VIII armor upgrade or 375,000 with a MK IV heavy armor upgrade), and 350/350 nanobots and shield batteries. This gunboat has 6 turrets, all of which fire forward and rearward. In addition to this, 5 turrets fire up, 3 fire down, and depending on how sharp the angle is, between 4-5 turrets can fire towards either side. This gunboat can mount 4 standard and 2 heavy turrets. The standard turrets are mounted 3-up and 1-down, with the heavy turrets being mounted 1 on each side. The Condor's main drawback is its power core, which is on the weaker side in regards to gunboats. Considering its power core and mountable weapons, I set my Condor up as an anti-snub gunboat, using 4 basic gunboat turrets and 2 Solaris gunboat turrets. The power drain is noticeable, but not extreme, unless you spray-and-pray. If you know how to turret steer, you can use this gunboat offensively, as well as defensively. Remember to set up hotkeys to allow you to roll, to prevent savvy pilots from getting directly above or below you. Being a Civilian ship, it is easily accessible to unaffiliated Freelancers and mercenaries. If you want a gunboat for mercenary/escort work, bounty hunting, or just to have your own tough gunboat that's not tied to any particular faction, the Condor is the gunboat for you!|4.88}}

Designed with a generous power supply and adequate armor, the CTE-12400 Condor is still a rare sight in Sirius. The ship is a new design adapted from an obsolete Zoner model. Built and maintained by various organisations unable to develop or acquire military ships, the Condor is typically used for heavy escort, or, in the hands of terrorists, to deal with a heavy escort.

Review (4.88)

The CTE-12400 "Condor" is an excellent gunboat. It's actually my personal favorite gunboat, and I prefer it to the other main civilian gunboat available, the "Conference" Zoner Gunboat. For the credits you're paying, you are getting a formidable ship. It's cargo capacity is 450 units, which is somewhat high for gunboats (minus the Junker's Wrecker), so you can do a bit of minor trading (or piracy) with it. It has a hull strength of 125,000 (which increases to either 312,500 with a MK VIII armor upgrade or 375,000 with a MK IV heavy armor upgrade), and 350/350 nanobots and shield batteries. Gunboat shields have a strength of 125,000 and have a decent regeneration rate of 1,900 units per second. The gunboat is very pleasing to the eyes, or mine at least, but its shape can cause some problems. It's very thin when faced head-on, from behind, or on either side, however, it has a large shield-esque shape from directly above or below.

This gunboat has 6 turrets, all of which fire forward and rearward. In addition to this, 5 turrets fire up, 3 fire down, and depending on how sharp the angle is, between 4-5 turrets can fire towards either side. This gunboat can mount 4 standard and 2 heavy turrets. The standard turrets are mounted 3-up and 1-down, with the heavy turrets being mounted 1 on each side. The Condor's main drawback is its power core, which is on the weaker side in regards to gunboats. Considering its power core and mountable weapons, I set my Condor up as an anti-snub gunboat, using 4 basic gunboat turrets and 2 Solaris gunboat turrets. The power drain is noticeable, but not extreme, unless you spray-and-pray. If you know how to turret steer, you can use this gunboat offensively, as well as defensively. Remember to set up hotkeys to allow you to roll, to prevent savvy pilots from getting directly above or below you. Being a Civilian ship, it is easily accessible to unaffiliated Freelancers and mercenaries. If you want a gunboat for mercenary/escort work, bounty hunting, or just to have your own tough gunboat that's not tied to any particular faction, the Condor is the gunboat for you!
