A lot of these system pages are outdated, Space's nav map may be better. |
The Picardy system is currently the most distant known inhabited system from the center of the Sirius Sector, and is a part of Gallia's core worlds. Once it had a connection to Maine (system) by a Jump Gate, but the system was destoryed by a super nova around 818 AS. Picardy is the industrial heart of the Gallic Kingdom. It's mining stations and facilitis produce the raw material and fuel for the huge Gallic heavy industrial economy.
The local navy fleet is relativ weak; especially compared with other Gallic system. Because of that the Council tries to start a popular revolution on Amiens like on Marne but around 60% of the people are loyal to the crown.
