The Briller is an absolutely wonderful freighter. There are many ways to use it. As an actual freighter, you've got your 4,100 nanobots and shield batteries, with a good amount of hull, a transport shield, and three type 4 transport turrets, All three of which fire forwards, and two of which fire backwards. With type 4 transport turrets you'll have great accuracy and with the right pilot it could easily kill fighters and bombers. However those are the only thing you could kill, as this would give it such a low amount of firepower that even a transport shield would give take forever to knock down, and a gunboat shield would regenerate as fast as you could dish out the hurt. With type 2 transport turrets you'll still have about as much accuracy as you'd have expected with fighter turrets on a ship its size, you'd have a harder time hitting fighters and bombers, but you'd actually have pretty decent firepower against larger ships. With such a huge capacity for nanobots and shield batteries, you can easily survive most pirates and dock to sell your minuscule cargo capacity of 399. With a ship this small, it could quite literally take hours to kill as you evade most shots and repair yourself. The only effective way to kill it is to destroy it instantly, which will usually happen once you've run out of shield batteries after about 20 minutes of trying to keep your shield up to prevent a SNAC charge. You could also use this ship as an escort for traders. With transport turrets packed so closely together on such a small ship, it has exceptional accuracy against fighters and bombers. You could fend off these pirates while at the same time feeding nanobots and shield batteries to your transports to keep them alive for a very long time. And, as its name suggests, this ship can also be used as a repair ship in all-out wars, having enough nanobot and shield battery capacity to support a lot of allies. For a ship with this much performance, I really do believe that it should have its price increased from 3,500,000 credits up to at least 7,000,000 credits.Error creating thumbnail: Unable to save thumbnail to destination Review by TLI-Inferno |
