Steve was born on Planet Leeds in 790 A.S. He was the older of three children in a poor class family. Both father and mother worked in one of the many industrial complexes of Leeds. They were living on a ramshackle house near the complex. In the 796 A.S, his middle brother died because of a disease associated with the excesive pollution of the area. The family couldn't afford the basic medical attention. Two years later, Steve got a bursary so he could enter the primary school.

Steve was born as the only son of Liam and Catherine Holloway, BMM workers assigned to Stokes Mining Station by the time her mother fell pregnant, who could only find Planet Leeds as the only place they could afford to raise his child. Growing up in the poisonous industrial environment of Planet Leeds, Steve quickly became acclimatized to the harsh life-style of the working class in Leeds which roughly included the 98% of the planet's population. Children usually skipped classes to play in the street or head to the nearest spaceport to admire the huge spaceships landing and departing. His teenhood mostly comprised fights between street gangs that made him return home with more than one hematoma, making her mother upset to the point that his father began taking Steve with him to the freighter trips between the planet's surface and Stokes station moving the raw ore mined from the asteroid field nearby.

The space life seemed to attract Steve from the very beginning, an interest fed even more once his father told him about his brief service in the Bretonian Armed Forces. Although Steve always suspected about how a Bretonian officer could've ended his career so fast to the point he would become a miner, Liam never told his son the reality behind his early retirement and the fate that made him become yet another unknown miner. The lifespan of most of workers in Leeds' was barely above 50 with no little exceptions on younger people, which was the case of Liam Holloway. Horrified by this tragic event, Steve put all his effort on gathering enough money so both him and his mother could eject from the hellhole of Leeds and escape from the claws of a slow death due to the severe contamination. At the age of 17 and with the help of some Liam's colleagues, Steve began working for BMM as part of the crew of an asteroid miner in Dublin system. The cash income was obviously low compared to mother's, who eventually convinced him to follow his father's step and enroll for education at the Leeds Military Academy. His stay at the academy didn't last as long as Catherine would have expected, believing that his son's behaviour was naturally alligned with anything but discipline. The only thing Steve ever commented about his stay at the academy was his single flight test in a Crusader Heavy Fighter.

On 803 A.S, Steve and some neighborhood friends created a gang. They were primarly dedicated to screw the business rich people and tax inspectors around their residential area. Few years later, another gang composed by sons of poor industrial workers decided to make life impossible to Steve's gang. Every week there was a few wounded boys on each gang because of the beatings. During this time, Steve learned to overcome most outlandish situations, even he learned to shoot low caliber pistols.

Not so much time after he left the academy on his own, he began his freelancer career putting in practice everything he had learnt back then about space flight. While he was polishing his flying skills around Bretonian space, the active black market in Trafalgar Base gave Steve the chance to earn credit chips in a swift way, coming across a small group of associates known as Phase I who were fully dedicated at smuggling Blood Diamonds and Human Organs from the Freeports in Magellan and Omega 3 inside the Bretonian borders using Clydesdale transports. The steady income was cut (just as the contact with his mother and the promised money) after long six years as one of the associates was caught by the lawful authorities, and as per agreement, the smuggling network would be disbanded to avoid the remaining members being tracked down. Steve fled from Freeport 1 in an Eagle ship to Dublin which was scrapped shortly after during a brawl against a Corsair.

After his graduation on seconday school, on 807 A.S he made his first interstellar flight on a BMM mining ship. He was part of the basic crew: Cleaning ore rocks of impurities, fixing the basic electronic devices...

The mining ship was assigned to Graves Station. After 3 years in Dublin space, Steve had lost all contacts with his parents and younger sister, but he was decided to leave his job at the end of ther year and return to Leeds to help their family. But that couldn't be: The ship was assaulted by a Molly squadron and the ship was completely destroyed. There were a few survivors, especially from the low bridge crew (where Steve was assigned) which were able to reach the escape pods before the ship exploded.

After he finished his medical treatment, he tried luck entering the Bretonian authorities, but the requests were all denied. Of course, the profits were very low, so Steve left the smuggling crew.

On 816 A.S, Steve accepted a contract from an unknown medical company that wanted to erradicate the Harris Syndrome, a disease which was being extended around Sirius sector, but especially on the Gold Ore Traders of the Omega-3 route. The company gave him an Eagle and he spent last 2 years on destroying gold ore cargo and disabling mining ships. After these 2 years, the contract was finally over, but the payment was only... 10 million of Sirian credits and the Eagle ship.

Now, he left Freeport 1 and he has been seen recently on Barrier Gate Station, probably looking for new contracts.

Steve, to Sebastian Rodriguez

Steve Holloway is a mercenary currently working under the banner of the Bounty Hunters Guild, having previously held the title of Mandalorian Consul and handled the company's internal issues in the Mandalore's absence.

While he began as a freelancer seeking his own contracts inside the House of Bretonia and its bordering systems, his passionate romance with Zoey Sakura and new job opportunities made him choose to fly for the Reaver Mercenary Company under the codename 'Sapphire', eventually jumping between them and the Mandalorian memberships for a short period of time until he decided to settle down with the latter. Although he eventually proved himself unable to carry the burden of the Mandalorians management and thus leading the company to the verge of collapse, he was offered a spot in the Hunters Guild before his departure.

At present time, he has abandoned every group he had ties to, returning to his roots as Freelancer.

`Phase I´ member nicknamed 'Mike', to Steve

Not so much time after he left the academy on his own, he began his freelancer career putting in practice everything he had learnt back then about space flight. While he was polishing his flying skills around Bretonian space, the active black market in Trafalgar Base gave Steve the chance to earn credit chips in a swift way, coming across a small group of associates known as Phase I who were fully dedicated at smuggling Blood Diamonds and Human Organs from the Freeports in Magellan and Omega 3 inside the Bretonian borders using Clydesdale transports. Shizuma Sakuragi, about Zoey Sakura

Years of success and unfortunate events followed. The friendly relationship with Shizuma Sakuragi slowly crumbled to eventually make Steve fly under the Reavers banner and find in Zoey Sakura a true soulmate.
