===Kusari Naval Forces Exploration Wing===

The Kusari Naval Forces Exploration wing was created on the 8.3, 817 A.S by Chusa Yoshi Sabayai. The primary objective or role of the wing is to conduct expeditions and missions to improve and expand "Kusari's Horizons". The work of the KNF-E not only benefits the immediate KNF but also the Kusari people. Official documentation [http://discoverygc.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=30954 here].

===Kusari Naval Forces Katana Bombers Wing===

The Kusari Naval Forces Katana Wing was introduced for the first time by Commodore Relden Mori as a defensive wing to help keep Kusari Space safe.

With the retirement of Commodore Relden Mori and the recently developed Kusari bomber, the Katana Wing was absorbed by KNF and reviewed by Taishō Hikaru Sulu to became an elite well-trained, fast and deadly anti capital ship wing.

Pilots in the KNF-K are strictly selected, subject to a very intense training and receive their medal directly from the Emperor himself.

They are feared amongst our enemies and praised by our citizens as a living legend. Official documentation [http://discoverygc.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=27787 here].

KNF projects itself across Kusari; from Honshu to Tau-31 and from Hokkaido to Kepler, Galileo and Sigma-13.

In the western front the furthest KNF base is the Battleship Nagumo in Kyushu, however due to Imperial reaction to defend from the agressive Bretonian Armed Forces, the Kusari Naval Forces Battleship Nagasaki has been deployed near Holman Outpost in Tau-31.

KNF projects itself across Kusari. From Honshu to Kyushu and from Hokkaido to Kepler, Galileo and Sigma-13 (there only staying within range of the jump gate).
From this forward base the KNF ensure the Taus remain the fertile garden of Kusari that it always has been.

Outcasts and Bretonians are dispatched with much zeal by our brave warriors in these sectors.
+
On the western front the furthest KNF base is the Battleship Nagumo in Kyushu, defending it from occasional blood dragon raid parties and small outcast wings. It is playing a vital role in guarding the Kusari – Gallia border which is settled in Tau-29.
 +

 +
On the eastern front the furthest KNF base is the Battleship Sado in Hiroshima system, it protects not only the whole system, but also launches patrols into New Tokyo and Honshu systems to assist police forces.
 +

 +
On the north front the furthest KNF base is the Battleship Matsumoto in Hokkaido. After finished construction of the Rishiri gate, it is playing a huge role in defending civilian transports from newly connected systems. Naval ships from Matsumoto patrol the entirety of space from Hokkaido to Planet Tomioka in Nagano.

 +
On the south front the furthest KNF base is the Battleship Myoko in Shikoku system. Located in a strategic position near Deshima, a BHG base, to monitor all of their activities in Kusari. Myoko also launches patrols into Kepler and Galileo systems, to secure all traffic that is going from or to Kusari.

After the end of the Kusari-Bretonia war, naval forces finally can focus on more important internal problems. While facing possible second wave of infection, naval forces are now desperately focusing on omicrons and on resources and knowledges that are hidden there, to help itself repel a new infestation.
War supply routes take Naval forces abroad through the Bretonian border worlds to Omega-49. The revolutionary scum residing in Chugoku can expect visits from the KNF as a matter of course. Tau-23 will also remain on the Emperor's agenda, where the KNF strike at the BMM base there.

Anywhere there is Bretonian shipping interest, the KNF will disrupt it.

Stellar Cartography

Home system: Hiroshima. Being a high security military restricted system Hiroshima is heavily defended by Naval Forces Guards and is considered inviolable space to all except Naval Forces,Samura Industries, State Police and Kishiro Technologies vessels.

It is known the High Command rarely granted this privilege, providing a license, even to some civillian vessels under particular circumstances.

Zone of interest (ZOI)

KNF projects itself across Kusari. From Honshu to Kyushu and from Hokkaido to Kepler, Galileo and Sigma-13 (there only staying within range of the jump gate).

On the western front the furthest KNF base is the Battleship Nagumo in Kyushu, defending it from occasional blood dragon raid parties and small outcast wings. It is playing a vital role in guarding the Kusari – Gallia border which is settled in Tau-29.

On the eastern front the furthest KNF base is the Battleship Sado in Hiroshima system, it protects not only the whole system, but also launches patrols into New Tokyo and Honshu systems to assist police forces.

Naval forces also may be spotted in sigma-sectors providing necessary protection for Kishiro or Samura convoys

Expeditionary Interests

After the end of the Kusari-Bretonia war, naval forces finally can focus on more important internal problems. While facing possible second wave of infection, naval forces are now desperately focusing on omicrons and on resources and knowledges that are hidden there, to help itself repel a new infestation.
