Tau-44 System

Discovered in 810 A.S. by a Colonial recon wing, Tau-44 held the main bases of the Colonial Republic. The system was developed swiftly with help of the IMG. Rich in resources and with an inhabited planet, Tau-44 was the key of Colonial progress in Sirius. However, due to the an invasion by the Gallic Royal Navy, most of the system is now under control of Gallia. The only base that can be accessed by the Colonial Republic is Singapore Shipyard, which is under the ownership of the Independent Mining Guild.

Not long ago the crew of the Battleship Oblique desert and joined The Council. Also the Hades returned in hope, to liberate the system with Council's help, while the main royal fleet fights at Liberty's border.

Nebulae

Sumatra Cloud

Sumatra Cloud

Sumatra Cloud is composed mainly of microscopic ice particles. This renders most scanners inefficient, which appeared to be useful when the Colonial Remnant was choosing the location for their secret shipyard. The field contains pockets of volatile oxygen that are extremely dangerous to passing ships.

Asteroid Fields

Brunei Ice Field

Brunei Ice Field

This large field of ice asteroids was once part of the Barrier; later it drifted into the gravity well of planet Borneo.

Makassar Asteroid Field

Makassar Asteroid Field

According to researchers, asteroids of Makassar are most likely remnants of a rocky moon destroyed by an asteroid impact millions of years ago.
