Overview

HiTech Research is a private company specialized in research and development of parts for Trade Lane and Jump Gate Network, which completely revolutionised travel throughout the Sirius sectors, when was implemented by one of the "Big Three" Liberty's corporations, Ageira Technologies. Also, this company is involved in the manufacturing of the Havoc Mk II civilian bombers and new medium sized arms, being focused to gain the trust on the market for its products.

44 A.S. - Is founded Valhalla Research with backing from major interests in the government and military.
51 A.S. - Is created Deep Space Engineering and becomes the main partner of the Valhalla Research in their research projects.
96 A.S. - Is made possible the first real-time communication, through a series of Faster Than Light relay buoys.
106 A.S. - Bretonia exchanges its advances in materials technology for the new engine designs.
120 A.S. - Valhalla Research invents the orbital Docking Ring, using advanced materials technology.
126 A.S. - Valhalla Research announces building a major research facility in the Texas system.
128 A.S. - The construction of the Dallas Research Station is completed and the base is used in the research of "Project Jump Gate".
130 A.S. - First prototype Jump Gate is tested successfully in Texas and is considered one of the most important events in the Sirius history.
155 A.S. - Valhalla Research change its name in Ageira Technologies.
180 A.S. - Ageira Technologies completes first full scale test of a Jump Gate, between Texas and Alaska.
181 A.S. - Universal Shipping signs contract with Ageira Technologies for handling Jump Gate parts.
185 A.S. - The President of Liberty unveils the Jump Gate project to the public.
189 A.S. - Is opened the first official Jump Gate between Colorado and New York.
207 A.S. - New York and California are connected trough a new Jump Gate.
215 A.S. - Ageira Technologies builds a manufacturing facility in Colorado for Jump Gate parts.
