Assembly Description

General Information

The Kamida Assembly is the name given to the military movement within Kusari against the corporate powers which they believed were corrupt. The movement itself focuses on removing the power from these corrupt business and shifting this power towards an Imperial system of government. To achieve this the Assembly are known to perform 'piracy' raids on such corporate transports, allowing them not only to monitor the flow of resources throughout Kusari but also to gain resources through such acts - this flow of materials are one of the few life lines the Assembly have at their disposal.

As well as holding a militant presence in Kusari the Assembly also have a small civilian population, most of which stem from the original population who followed the Kamida off Kyushu. These people are those who have been considered unfit to fight for whatever reason, this civilian population for the moment serve a very limited amount of needs, although they are seen to, when able, help out the Assembly in whatever way they can - be that by helping with engineering work or food distribution.

The Assembly's Creation

The Assembly itself was created by the Kamida Family in 819 A.S.. This was when the Kamida were escaping Kyushu after they denounced the corporate government as their ruler. The Kamida Lord's son at that time, Kaito Kamida, realised that with their limited resource their small band of nobles and farmers would pose little threat to a well established power. His solution the Kamida Assembly, a central banner which the Kamida could use to rally support for their cause.

Using this banner the Kamida mixed their own personnel guard with any whom were willing to fight for them; farmers, pirates even past law enforcers.

The Kamida's Personnel Guard

The elite guard of the Kamida Family, created in the late 109 – early 110 A.S., they were originally the Kamida's only military group. Low in quantity, numbering for only a few hundred, it was clear that such a small group would not be sufficient to support the Kamida's needs alone. For this reason a few months after the initial creation of the Assembly what remained of the Kamida's Personnel guard integrated, in many ways, with the Assembly. Although during ceremonies and other important events those of the personnel guard are held in a place honour by preforming their original purpose and acting to protect the Kamida official currently involved.

The Assembly's Leadership

The group itself falls under the control of the noble Kamida Family. Those of the Kamida blood line are expected to lead the movement as well as arming and sheltering those who follow the movement.

Overall, despite the groups original creation ideals, the Kamida Assembly is the name given to any, and all, ships under the military banner of the Kamida Family- no matter their goal. All orders with regards to this group are always at the will of the current Kamida Lord, this is often passed down through the Kamida's Taishos who then instruct those within the Kamida Assembly to make sure that any goals of the Lord are met.

All members of the Kamida Family are considered to be of higher importance than those of the Assembly. Although the exact power segments within the family are always in conflict. This in its simplest form being that the Lord rules while in theory his relatives should following gladly – a rule of thumb which is not always the case.
