Description
ExoGeni is the leading genetical research department in Bretonia. In addition to funding the establishment of several bretonian colonies, ExoGeni has incidentally secured resource rights to worlds that may have undiscovered resources or remnants of alien technology, such as their newest research outpost on Planet Sprague. They are closely related to Cryer Pharmaceuticals, being a subsidiary of the larger corporation. ExoGeni is known to be contracted by House militaries and privates alike for their bio-genetical implants. One of ExoGeni's subsidiaries is a private military contractor with a highly-trained security force capable of rescue, reconnaissance, and para-military operations. The corporation uses the force to secure and protect its assets and high profile employees.
History
The first founders of ExoGeni are still a shadow in the corporation's history, there are no documents about them, only that they assigned the control over the whole corporation to Professor Tiberius Maxwell. The Bretonia Police Authority had some relevant documents about ExoGeni, and those documents were dated to 802 A.S, two years after the Nomad War.
Even with all the possible documents related to ExoGeni, the whole deal on how the corporation was founded remains a mistery.
Job Opportunities
ExoGeni owned research and transport convoys increased their presence Sirius-wide since 802 A.S, their research convoys were seen in Omicron Theta, searching within the system's nebulas for artifacts. With some of the recent discoveries in xenoarcheology belonging entirely to them. Another important section of ExoGeni is their trading department, an independent section, not related to research operations, dealing in transportation.
ExoGeni Security Division
The ExoGeni Security Division (sometimes called the ExoGeni Security Corps) is a paramilitary organized security force, involved in the protection of the ExoGeni transport and research ships. They are currently lead by Security Chief Richard Gates.
ExoGeni Research Division
Organized as a mining group, the Research Division is outfitted with state of the art scientifical-mining equipment. They are seen around the Edge Nebula searching for artifacts, the whole division is controlled by a renown xenoarcheologist.
The main income of ExoGeni comes from the Turtle Creek Nebula, in Kansas, in which Iridium abounds.
ExoGeni Transport Division
The ExoGeni Transport Division is a rather small but effective trading convoy, they often haul scientifical equipment and other materials. The transportation network's director is Benjamin Jak.

Gene Therapy
Gene therapy is the insertion of genes into an individual's cells and tissues to alter the person's DNA. Gene therapy allows for the treatment of genetic disorders by replacing a defective mutant allele with a functional one using a carrier, also known as a vector, to deliver the therapeutic gene to the patient's target cells. Currently, the most common type of vectors are viruses that have been genetically altered to carry normal human DNA.
Medical Gel
Medi-gel (medical gel) is an all-purpose medicinal salve combining an anaesthetic and clotting agent used by paramedics, EMTs, and military personnel, produced by the ExoGeni (with Cryer Pharmaceuticals). It heals various wounds and ailments, instantly sealing injuries against infection and allowing for rapid healing by having the gel grip tight to flesh until subjected to a frequency of ultrasound. It is sealable against liquids - most notably blood - as well as contaminants and gases. Technically its properties make it illegal under genetic modification laws, but the restriction, in this case, is ignored because of the product's beneficial properties.

Synthetic Insights, Ltd
Synthetic Insights, Ltd. is one of only four corporations licensed by the bretonian government to develop artificial intelligence. They have extensive holdings on Planet Cambridge, where tight security allows them to work without harassment from socially hostile organizations; therefore they invest heavily there. The Synthetic Insights manager at Planet Cambridge is Robert Pressly. Synthetic Insights may be one of the companies who contribute capital to ExoGeni, though Pressly mentions that Synthetic Insights relies on the goodwill of the ExoGeni executive board to work on Planet Cambridge.
RDF Mining & Co
RDF Mining & Co is a private, yet ExoGeni-owned, mining company. They are a rather common sight in Dublin. The company is currently held by director Michael Arnett.
