The von Thielau family originated in the old Germany on earth, the first family members were aristocrats and some of them militaric heroes. Some say the von Thielaus originated from the northern tribes of Scandinavia, but that is not for sure.
With the arrival on Planet Neu Berlin after the coalition's victory in the Sol system, the German military, including many von Thielaus, were put into power and began to establish a military government. The imperial family played an important role in that government and they kept their status until Von Rohe's Day when the Federal Rheinland was established. The family lost an important vote in the government because of their imperialistic background. They slowly rehabilitate their reputation although the family still is very conservative and doesn't really support liberal mindset.
The family survived the Nomad War almost unharmed, due to Gerdrut's report after her first expedition to the nomad worlds. Many officers within the military were possessed by Nomads during this time. The family members were taught to pretend to be infested. The Von Thielaus also informed their friends about the Nomads and tried to protect as many as possible. After the Nomad War the von Thielaus were questioned by the BDM about former officers which were infeceted. Some family members joined the BDM after the investigations.
Each member of the von Thielau family is of noble blood. They hold the gift of reign from their imperial forefathers. Von Thielaus are born to take the lead. They are strong and survive even hard times in history. Von Thielaus are taught to be loyal to their Vaterland and their friends. Thy receive a good education and are advanced in politics. No one of the Von Thielaus ever fall to unlawful groups or betrayed the Vaterland in any other possible way.
The von Thielaus have their Residenz on Planet Stuttgart, where all live together on their huge property. The von Thielau Family counts to one of the best known and richest families in Rheinland. Recently one of the von Thielaus, Siegfried married into another noble family, the Von Ehrenberg Family. The families know each other because of their service in the Rheinwehr. Both families are upset about the BDM's decision stopping their involvement in the war with Kusari as the BDM leaves the winning Rheinwehr forces alone at the front in 826 A.S..

Karl-Heinz von Thielau - RM - Kaiserliche Rheinwehr Großadmiral
A former Kommissar of the BDM and father of Jürgen and Wolfgang von Thielau. He was constantly involved in BDM's Nomad affairs until his last operation in Neu Berlin when he realized he's to old for the service and he resigned in 824 A.S.. In 826 A.S. he entered duty again and served as Admiral in the Kaiserliche Rheinwehr. One year later the Rheinwehr was re-structured by the Kaiser and Karl-Heinz serves now as Großadmiral and leader of the whole Military.
Karl Heinz von Thielau has the command over the U-Boot U-187.

Gerdrut von Thielau - Xeno Archeologistin
Gerdrut von Thielau, born 'von und zu Baden', is the mother of Jürgen and Wolfgang von Thielau. She is a Xeno Archeologist and works for the Rheinland government since 781 A.S.. Gerdrut always believed a Monarch would be stronger than the government, but she kept quiet and worked for the Rheinland. Because of her strict conservative father, Gerdrut wasn't allowed to go to work until she married and her husband could decide. She was part of the first team of Rheinland archeologists that encountered Nomads. She made it back to Rheinland uninfected and saved many family members from an Infection.

Jürgen von Thielau - KPR Geheimpolizist
Jürgen von Thielau is an highly regarded agent of the BND. As former Rheinwehr pilot Jürgen joined the BDM after medical issues and a recovery time to fight against the Red Hessians in Rheinland. Von Thielau is a rather new member of the BND Inspektorat, with crucial knowledge about Red Hessian Movement in Rheinland - Knowledge which has brought him far up in the ranks of the BDM already. He has been transfered to the BND recently, as reaction to a lack of personnel in this division of the MND.
Herr Hauptinspektor Jürgen von Thielau, intelligence officer since 824 A.S, is part of the highest ranks in the BND Mid Command. Von Thielau is a enforcement officer and, as part of the Inspektorat, takes care of Rheinland’s inner safety. Under command of the Generaloberispektor, von Thielau cares about unusual Hessian movements and other internal threads. Von Thielau also assists the regional Bundespolizei forces if necessary, but also collects information on external factions if ordered by the Oberkommando.

Wolfgang von Thielau - Kaiserliche Marine Admiral
Wolfgang is the younger brother of Jürgen von Thielau. He was raised on Stuttgart and influenced by the imperialistic attitude of his parents he thought of the Rheinwehr as his dream job. Wolfgang fought in many wars but got heavily injured in an ambush on Stuttgart and had to recover a while on Planet Baden-Baden and Planet Curacao. Now Wolfgang is back and serves under Konteradmiral Reinhardt von Ehrenberg in the Kampfgruppe Vallentorm. Due to his great engagement in the recent diplomatic acts with the von Albrecht family and the Unioners, as well as his honorable service at the front for the Vaterland, Wolfgang has been promoted to Konteradmiral in June 826 A.S., to Vizeadmiral of the Rheinwehr fleet in 827 A.S. and to Admiral of the Kaiserliche Rheinwehr in 828 A.S.

Emily von Thielau, born Heinrich, is married to Wolfgang von Thielau she serves Rheinland as Reichspolizei Detektiv. She is the most open-minded member of the Von Thielau family. She has three children with Wolfgang von Thielau - Kara von Thielau, Nina von Thielau and Siegfried von Thielau und Ehrenberg.

Not much is known about Kara von Thielau. She is the daughter of Wolfgang and Emily. Kara studied Polizeiwissenschaften at the Neu Berlin Universität and soon became a member of the Bundespolizei of Rheinland. She is the current Inspekteurin of the KPR now, after Laura Clausewitz' resignation April in 826 A.S.

Valentina Marie von Thielau is the youngest member of the Krüger board of directors. She is the daughter of Wolfgang and Emily. Valentina studied Bundeswirtschaftslehre and Führungswissenschaften für Fachangestellte in öffentlichen Betrieben on the Neu Berlin Unicampus and soon became a member of Krüger Mineralien. She is the current director of the ore group since her appointment to join the board in 826 A.S.

Hanna Wyghtham was born in 800A.S. on Planet Cambridge.She was soon sent on a mission to Rheinland to help the Imperial families to prepare a coup against the former federal government of Rheinland.Since Karl-Heinz was promoted to Governor of Stuttgart, he made her part of the Von Thielau Family and gave her a new alias. Mira von Thielau, as she is called in Rheinland, was made head of the Rheinland operations of the SIS. Her current mission is to infiltrate the Rheinland Government and whipe out all remaining Federalists with the assistance of her assigned Agents.

Siegfried von Thielau - Daumann Betriebsleiter
Siegfried von Thielau und Ehrenberg is Kara's, Valentina's and Nina's brother. Siegfried decided to not join a military institution, that action upset his father Jürgen. He would have been glad to see both of his children to serve the Vaterland. Siegfried suffered sometimes from the lacking support of his father, but Siegfried is a strong person. He entered his service for Daumann after a lack of employees in the faction. He married Antonie von Ehrenberg in 814 A.S shortly before his daughter Mia was born.

Nina von Thielau - Kaiserreichspolizei Direktorin
Nina von Thielau is the daughter of Jürgen and Heide. She's Kara's, Valentina's and Siegfried' sister. Nina studied together with her sister Polizeiwissenschaften at the Neu Berlin Universität and soon became a member of the Bundespolizei of Rheinland. She is the current Direktorin of the Bundespolizei in the RFP now, after her sister appointed her in April in 826 A.S. She has recently married Vincent von Thielau, member of the rich Herrmann family. Vincent was given the honor to live on the von Thielau Residenz on Planet Stuttgart by Karl-Heinz von Thielau.

Lola von Thielau - KGD Truppleiterin
Lola von Thielau und Ehrenberg is the youngest member of the Family. Her father Siegfried von Thielau married her mother Antonie von Ehrenberg, a member of another honorable Rheinland family, only two months before Lola was born. Little is known about Mia.
Lola von Thielau und Ehrenberg, intelligence leading position student was born in 808 A.S and is known as the youngest member of the Von Thielau Family and the Von Ehrenberg Family. She was born during a golden age in Rheinland, but later decided to do something in the military with her excellent grades. She decided to step into her granduncle Jürgen`s foot steps and join the Intelligence. But she decided to study the Führungswissenschaften, as she hopes to use her great potential in her young years. Now, in 826 A.S. With the introduction of the Marineabwehrdienst, Lola was asked to join the unit and she was appointed to Direktor as her Studium made her more than suitable for that job.
