ABDUCTEES

In the border worlds and peripheries of settled space, pilots frequently go missing -- often, these are lost explorers, mechanical failures and combat deaths. Not all are so lucky. Wild raiders are known to carry out abductions, kidnapping pilots and their passengers. These Abductees are sent deep into the Omicrons for some unknown purpose, vanishing forever. The few rescued before this fate are often permanently damaged by their experience, suffering broken psyches and nightmarish dreams of faceless monsters and giant worms.
