Review (4.86)
The Eagle is an old time and well deserved fan favourite. Nimble, powerful, but slighter weaker in the hull and larger than some VHFs, nevertheless it's sheer speed and the familiarity most pilots feel with this ship make it a powerful one. Able to mount 6 guns, 4 of which can be Class 10 provides much needed power in addition to it's other advantages. A good ship for either beginner or pro, I highly recommend both this VHF and the Katana. Although this may give you more freedom for weapons choices. Review
Once a Favorite, Always a favorite. This nimble VHF is considered the Standard for most factions, Not only can it be used by everyone, but it is an excellent ship. The Handling is superb, with this little guy you can fly circles around Gunboats, and is powerful enough to take down a fully kitted Tridente. The ship is a little on the big side, making it easier to hit than let's say, a Raven's Talon or a Hogosha Black Dragon. This truly is an amazing ship, if maneuverability is your style, then this is probably for you. However you should probably make sure that you have a good load-out, the ships power plant is Large enough to handle my current loadout of, 2 Tizona del Cid's, 2 Hogosha "Drake" Type D Plasma Cannon's, and 2 HEIMDALL's, If you really want to. However it is advised that you set a Shield busting weapon group aswell as a hull busting weapon group, As using Powerful weapons that are heavy on the power plant, at full blast will leave you out of energy in quite a short while. Unfortunately the Turret is only rear firing. Error creating thumbnail: Unable to save thumbnail to destination Review by Naturalist Fouche |

Just adding a few more details to Fouche's review. The Eagle, while quite fast has a few drawbacks. One of them is the lack of hull strength and the other notable one is it's huge shape. This makes the Eagle a bit harder to box with, due to it's hitbox and lack of hull. Also the turret, while not fireing full forward it can be fired forward at around 45° offset from the dead forward by my judgement. The best way to use this to your advantage is to do slides, thus fireing a bit to the side and using the turret. Another helpful note is to watch the ship's hull and not be greedy on the nanobots, you'll be surprised how fast you can get downed to the point of which a single razor could kill you. Shotgun attacks are also fairly dangerous for this ship. Error creating thumbnail: Unable to save thumbnail to destination Review by Bloodl1ke |

Review
While it is fairly well maneuverable, more-so than most other VHFs, it doesn't turn that much faster than most others, which makes it hard to counter-act its fairly low armor and large size. It does have some benefits, though. When turning, it doesn't instantly turn. Instead, it will roll a bit, which can make it harder to hit for some people. However, I'd recommend a Sabre or Raven's Talon over the Eagle, due to their superior armor, energy, and firepower while being barely slower than the Eagle. Review
One awesome of a ship, the Eagle is a fighter that everyone can use, and not only, its also one of the best VHFs around. This ship turns very fast, but its armor is relatively weak when we look at its shape, but with this fighter you'll fly circles around others with ease. While all that being said, this ship may not be too friendly to players that can't aim properly, or that can't turn properly in it. It's a real good choice, I'd prefer this at any time over the so-called good VHF "Guardian" Error creating thumbnail: Unable to save thumbnail to destination Review by Ciufu |
