Ore is a collective term for all commodities that can be mined.To mine ore, you need the required ID/IFF for the specific ore,proper mining turrets,a mining ship(Hegemon,Arrastra etc.).The problem with ore is that you'll most likely need a lot of time or another player to mine for you.Mining factions can provide miners most of the time.
