Ore
Ore is a collectiv term for all commodities, that must be mined. For minig ore is nothing needes than a astroid-field that has got ores inside a singel weapon, but this way of mining is costly in terms of time. If you want to mine a very fine-way you need to have a mining-ship, a special IFF and its ID, a astroidfield with a lot of ore-containing "mini-astroids" and at least mining turrets, who are to weak in combat (see also Mineable_Commodities). The problem with ore is, that you always need a lot of time or else another skilled player, who is trained on one special metal. At normal this miners are seldom to find and not cheap. Most times they want about 25% from the sell price per unit at the best sellingplace in game. This places are often in a part far away, or behinde a war-border like the Taus, so that the trader has got a lot of problems, but at least he is able to geather the most profite with that ore-goods.
Ore is the best trading goods for legal-working traders in game. Normal prices are about 10.000 Credits per unit and they all are just needing one cargo-place and each house allows each ore. So ore is surly one of the most interresting commodities for traders ingame.
