This ID will work with any generic mining ship for all ore types, and additionally, will work with the ALG and Junker ships for the purposes of scrap metal mining. Notes:

  • You must shoot the ore rocks with mining turrets and an appropriate ship, ID and IFF combination in order to get a bonus to ore drops.
  • Anything mining that does not meet the conditions to apply a bonus, gets the default *0.5 multiplier, in essence a 50% penalty. This does allow escorts and trade vessels to help in the mining effort, albeit with limited effectiveness.
