Overview
Description
Liberty Trade Shipping is a new corporation founded by former employees of Interspace Commerce, as result of their grievances related to the policy promoted by the leaders of this company. They accuse Interspace Commerce that has become a too corrupt corporation, with dubious connections, which no longer represent the true interests of the Republic of Liberty, being concerned only by their own interests. In contrast with Interspace Commerce, not having yet the necessary financial resources, Liberty Trade Shipping does not provide banking services. However, this corporation is focused to dominate the market of shipping services. For this reason, Liberty Trade Shipping has decided to begin an aggresive campaign in order to become the main competitor of Interspace Commerce, especially in Kusari, Bretonia and Liberty.
As a first step in her ascension, Liberty Trade Shipping corporation has begun to provide shipping services in Kusari, desiring to dominate Interspace Commerce in this house. With this driving goal at the forefront, the headquarters of Liberty Trade Shipping was constructed in Honshu system and this has proven to be a successful venture for their growth. Also, it is believed that Liberty Trade Shipping have the intention to build a new trade center in Bretonia, in the not so distant future, as a second step in the development plan of this corporation.
With origins in the Republic of Liberty, Liberty Trade Shipping follow a constant line in the battle to avoid involvement in military conflicts between Bretonia and Kusari and to keep their reputation at a high level with local authorities from these two houses. Although they do not have as a priority to establish relationships with corporations from Gallia and Rheinland, is possible to happen in a distant future. According to some rumors, the president of Liberty Trade Shipping corporation, David Leroy, has a personal vision about how can be determined local authorities from all houses, to give more freedoms to lawful traders, even in times of war. He has as example, a similar attempt initiated by a group of Junkers which are now disbanded, known as Deep Trading Consortium. Even if their attempt has failed, he believes that the idea will succeed, if Liberty Trade Shipping will have backing from all major trade corporations.
History
Being newly created, Liberty Trade Shipping does not have a too consistent history. Officially, this corporation was founded in May, 819 A.S. by David Leroy and Rick Tenda. Previously, Rick Tenda was the owner of another company, Liberty Trade and Supply, created with the both sons of David Leroy, Mark and Joe. But later, with the involvement of David, resigned from Interspace Commerce, Liberty Trade and Supply was dissolved and a new one has born: Liberty Trade Shipping. With intense involvement of those two friends, this corporation has registered, in short time, a rapid growth.
In first month, they succeed to gain the trust of Kusari Naval Forces and to build own trade center in Kusari space, near to Honshu planet. However, considering that Liberty Trade Shipping has common origins with Interspace Commerce, David and Rick tried to maintain a friendly relationship with all employees of this corporation. Unfortunately, when they asked docking rights on a private station belonging to Interspace Commerce, their request was rejected, and as result, the friendly relationships between these companies have been affected in a negative way. Since then, Liberty Trade Shipping has begun an agresive campaign in order to become the main competitor of Interspace Commerce on the market of shipping services, especially in Kusari, by signing of some contracts with others corporations, like Kishiro Technologies, Samura Heavy Industries or Gateway Shipping Inc. and also attraction of new members.
An important step in the evolution of this company was the acquisition of the "Tau Trade License" from Bretonia Police Authority. Also, the leaders of Liberty Trade Shipping were constantly concerned to obtain docking rights on other private stations, from Kusari and Bretonia. Recently, they started some negotiations with Kusari Naval Forces to receive the permission to use in Kusari space, a new type of ships, known as T-833-GB "Ahoudori" Kusari Explorer, in their Security Division. Also, it is believed that Liberty Trade Shipping have the intention to build a new trade center in Bretonia, in the not so distant future and it seems that the true history of this corporation is written nowadays.

Born in a poor family of miners, he doesn't had necesary financial resources to follow a military academy, as he father always wanted. At 18 years old, he decided to move on planet California Minor. There he met on his current wife, Diana, with whom he had two boys: Mark and Joe. For 10 years, has worked as freelancer trader. At 28 years old, he moved back on Planet Denver and was employed by Interspace Commerce corporation. Much later, at the insistence of his sons, he resigns from Interspace Commerce and decide to create, together with Rick Tenda, Liberty Trade Shipping, becoming the president of this corporation. David has a personal vision to convince local authorities in the four houses of Sirius to give more freedoms to all lawful traders, even in times of war. He based his attempt off an example by the Deep Trading Consortium, a group of Junkers which are now disbanded. Their attempt failed, however he believes the idea will succeed with backing contracts from major trade corporations. |

Everyday he was looking at the sky in the hope of riding them one day. Little by little, he putted money on the side to finally buy his first ship and his freedom. He worked for awhile as contract for Universal Shipping Inc. and later for Border World Exports. Unfortunately, due to some internal struggle between Border World Exports and Gateway Shipping Inc, who cost the lives of some of his crew, he took the decision to work again only with Universal Shipping Inc.. But, with the piracy increasing and being close to 30 years, he decided in May 819 A.S. to retire as a contractor and move as employee to Liberty Trade Shipping corporation. In a short period, he won the trust of leaders and was promoted as Business Development Manager of this company. |

He had to begin a new life, without his family. With a few credits, he decided to purchase a Bison freighter from Planet Manhattan, being the place where he was dropped by rescuers. After a period in which he worked as an independent trader, when he heard about Liberty Trade Shipping, he thought that this it might be a good chance to earn some money so... he filed an application to be employed and now is the Chief Security Officer of this corporation. |

Joe Leroy is a guy with a tumultuous life. His past it's relatively simple. He is the first son of David Leroy and was born on Planet Denver. Joe has a younger brother, Mark Leroy. In contrast with Mark, Joe did not liked school. With an entourage dubious, he became a loyal customer of bars, from everywhere. He always preferred wine and prostitutes, instead of a quiet life. Thus, he was always considered a rebel of his family. At the age of 20 years, he decided to make his own way in life. He learned from his father how to trade and created a very small company: Coalition of Independent Traders (CIT), with freelancer identity. He succeeded to build a base in Honshu: Muroto Trade Center, with approval in this regard from Kusari Naval Forces High Command. But... after one year, businesses have not gone as he was expected and... he had to accept proposal of his brother, to sell this base to Liberty Trade and Supply wich later has become Liberty Trade Shipping. Currently, Joe tries every day to get over difficulties encountered, but most of the time he do mistakes with unpleasant consequences. According to some rumors, he is in love by Nevaeh Morgan, a girl from Golden Chrysanthemums organisation. However, his father decided to give him a chance, and now Joe Leroy is the employee of Liberty Trade Shipping corporation. |

Born in a middle class family on Planet Manhattan, with both parents employees of Interspace Commerce corporation, Jason Smith had a dream about to join in the Liberty Navy. When he turned 18 years, his father sent him to West Point Military Academy for training. At 25 years old, Jason was selected to drive a Li-117 Liberty "Upholder". All was great until he was sent in a mission, to defend Battleship Mississippi from Texas system against an invasion of some Rheinland Military forces. During the battle, his ship was hit by two missiles and it was completely destroyed. Also, in this battle, Jason had lost his left eye, being declared as "handicapped". For this reason, he had to retire from Liberty Navy. Even though he can see properly with his right eye, Jason was rejected every time when he tried to have another job. After six months from his retirement, he met with Rick Tenda at Newark Station. After a discussion with Rick, he decided to join in Liberty Trade Shipping corporation, in order to have a chance of flying a ship, once again. |

In this section are presented the main centers of operations and the contracts signed so far by the Liberty Trade Shipping corporation:
Centers of Operations
Muroto Trade Center is located in Honshu system (Kusari Empire), at 10k distance from Planet Honshu.
Originally constructed at the middle of 819 A.S. by a group of freelancers, named Coalition of Independent Traders, Muroto Trade Center was purchased by Liberty Trade and Supply. The value of this transaction was never made public. Later, this company has been dissolved and Rick Tenda (former employee) together with David Leroy (ex-member of Interspace Commerce) have founded Liberty Trade Shipping. Also, David Leroy has become the president of this new corporation. Currently, Muroto Trade Center is the headquarter of Liberty Trade Shipping corporation. It's good to know that station, according to a previous agreement, was constructed with the consent of Kusari Naval Forces and they have reserved the right to dock there, anytime and in any conditions, in order to perform some periodic inspections. Also, Kusari Naval Forces ensure the security of this center against various hostile forces, as long the owners of this station do business only with obeying the Kusari laws.
One of the goals of Liberty Trade Shipping is to build new trade centers, especially in Liberty and Bretonia. Until then, this corporation is trying to get docking rights on other private stations.

Contracts Signed
These are official contracts signed so far by Liberty Trade Shipping corporation:
- Bretonian Tau Trading License - in order to get the right for trading in Tauri systems, from the Bretonian local authorities.
- Kishiro Technologies - for acquiring 40.000 units of munitions, required to complete the construction of the Muroto Trade Center.
- Gateway Shipping Inc - to purchase 30.000 units of super alloy, required by own factory to build more docking modules.
- Samura Heavy Industries - for the delivery of various commodities to Shiojiri Storage Depot.
Diplomacy
The following diplomatic relations are determined by the interactions that occurring over time between Liberty Trade Shipping and other groups or factions.
