HESSIAN TEARS

These rare diamonds are found only in the Dresden Schwefelnebel where the unique conditions of the requisite heat and pressure, with local trace amounts of boron, give pockets of free-floating diamonds a dazzling blue tint. Once mined by Kruger Minerals, Rheinland's loss of the Dresden system has left the Red Hessians as the sole vendor of these gems. Nicknamed Hessian Tears, they have come to be associated with the Hessian movement, with their wealthier ideological allies and sympathisers wearing them to display their sentiments.
