Early Service 826 A.S

Built in times of the testing Gallic war against both Liberty and Bretonia Navies - the LNS Shenandoah - an anticipated warship for the California Minor defensive garrison - was completed on May 1st, 826 A.S in order to secure more surely the California system from the Battleship Carcassonne. The ship overseen mainly the terraforming operations on California Minor and defended the supply convoys to it from Gallic Royal Navy. When Battlegroup Alma and the ship itself left for the Operation Vanguard - Shenandoah was chosen to be the main defender of California system, however, it's operations to defend Planet Los Angeles was un-eventful as Battleship Carcassonne's wings focused more on striking the supply convoys to Bretonia. It wasn't long before Operation Vanguard turned out to be a successful in taking out Battleship Betheny - but for a cost of the oldest defender of California, Battleship Yukon. With the threat of Battleship Carcassonne being lower than unusual, the Shenandoahwas sent back to Norfolk Shipyard for repairs and refits. It didn't take long before Shenandoah was launched from Norfolk once more to head finally straight into New London system to finally remove Gallic Royal Navy. Days later after Alma and Concord arrived in the system, Gallic Royal Navy executed a blitz which was anticipated by the Allied strategists after Crayter Military Operation Ice Land captured the Tau-31 system and successfully broke the supply line.

New London Blitz and Operation Dunkirk - August 826 A.S

Shenandoah stood strong in defense of the Bretonia capital - she took on several Valor Battleships and emerged victorious over the course of the blitz, both striking fear to Royal Navy and respect towards Liberty Navy and Bretonia Armed Forces. It was reported by the Shenandoah during the blitz that it encountered the feared Valor type Battleship called RNS-Sombre.Destin which was responsible for many vessels being heavily damaged in New London and it's surronding system under the course of the invasion into Bretonian space - both vessels, how reported Captain of the Shenandoah at the time, Alice Heyes, sustained heavy damages and both needed to retreat back to the safe positions to emergency repair or they both risked certain suicidal destruction. The blitz was heavy but the fighting continued until the August 17th, 826 A.S when all of the Gallic Royal Navy ships were either destroyed or disabled, or even escaped. Through the Blitz, the Battleship Gettysburg, Carrier Warwick and Battleship Essex were destroyed and their remaining escorts regrouped at the Battleship Ottawa and Battleship Norfolk to finally take back Leeds system and finally end the very blood-lust war which has started many years ago.

Following the defeat of the Royal Navy in New London, it was decided by the King Charles himself and his Admiralty to burn down Planet Leeds to the ground while he himself was to escape from the Ile De France system as the Council forces were closing on the system itself, it wasn't long before the Gallic News reported the disappearance of the King and the attack on one of the transports which supposedly had King onboard. With the allied fleets going to Leeds, Shenandoah joined up Battleship Ottawa which was going full head onto the system's liberation with Battleship Norfolk - however, the gate to the system was sealed and the access codes were not avaialbe to allied forces, but it was not long before the Gallic Royal Navy Triumph which escaped surrendered to Bretonia and Liberty forces, giving them the access codes to the gate. With this, allied forces had a chance to stop the burning of the Leeds, however to their knowledge they didn't knew what was coming next. When Ottawa jumped through the gate, it was met with the experimental Montagne weapon platform which can fire an Heavy Beam corona which was developed by the Gallic Royal Intelligence - it's first combat test was on Battleship Ottawa and thus, the ship itself fallen to the experimental weapons but not before being taken down by the Battlegroup escorts of the Ottawa, Shenandoah included. Battleship faced once again the RNS-Sombre.Destin but not much of the engagement with it happened and both ships retreated back to their respected friendly positions - the Battleship Ottawa's staff bridge alerted about the situation before going down and thus the Norfolk and her escorts moved in as well to support Liberty escorts which were fighting on otherside. When Battleship Norfolk finally arrived in Leeds, it was already over, the Planet Leeds and whole system infrastructure was destroyed by the Gallic Royal Navy, with this strategic scorch earth tactic, the Gallic war was over for the Kingdom of Gallia - now known as Gallic Royal Enclave, as new governing state was being formed in Gallic core worlds, Shenandoah and Navy forces were either sent back to New London or remained in Leeds system until more Bretonia forces would arrive to secure the system.

The return of Shenandoah to Liberty and Magellan operation - August 826 A.S-Early 827 A.S

Shenandoah however didn't returned to New London but proceeded to the Magellan, from there, it went to California system where it received orders for repairs and refit once again on Norfolk Shipyard. After patch-ups were done, she was supposed to reinforce the Battleship Mississippi and Battlecruiser Lehigh but the leave of the Battleship Rio Grande from the Colorado system left it defenseless and thus the ship was sent to the backwater system for short duration where it fed off criminal elements before being ordered to reinforce the Battleship Rio Grande in California as Battleship Carcassonne location was soon to be located, few hours later after the Shenandoah's arrival in the California the Battleship Carcassonne and it's Battlegroup started to run for the Cortez jump hole in the system, with the fear that the vessel would make more damages to civilian industry in the Cortez system - Liberty Navy High Command decided to chase the vessel down and force either it's surrender or destruction before it can escape for Independent Worlds however it wasn't long before Battleship Carcassonne surrendered to Liberty Navy as the morale onboard Battleship Carcassonne broke down and mutiny was called upon, making the Executive Officer of the Battleship a new commanding officer which made the decision to surrender the ship to Battleship Concord and Battleship Alma. With the Gallic Royal Enclave threat over in the Liberty, Shenandoah was once again sent on to Norfolk Shipyard to received major upgrades to the vessel, such as the "Triple Hull" design which Battleship Missouri holds on armor to this day.

At the end of the 826 A.S, the vessel went onto the Magellan system as the analytics of the system shown that the system could become an second Texas system if no-one intervened and thus, Shenandoah with it's fresh upgrades was sent to the Independent Worlds. It wasn't long before Shenandoah picked up a distress call from the Fifth Fleet Gunboat LNS Loyalist which was disabled by the Hellfire Legion attack. The squadron which was given to the Shenandoah, the 919th "Freedom fighters" were sent to recover the vessel with the Shenandoah as a spearhead of the rescue operation. After the second wave of the Hellfire Legion attack was fed off, the Loyalist gave out confidential data on where the Battlecruiser Louisiania is and thus the Battleship went on to save the Battlecruiser from the Hellfire Legion forces. The ship was in the Barrier Nebula, the vessel was under attack by an enemy Battlecruiser and few fighters and bombers when Shenandoah arrived, the vessel neutralized them and proceeded to escort the Battlecruiser Louisiania out of the Nebula, however, it took a very long time. When whole small Battlegroup came out of the Nebula, the Liberty Navy High Command removed the Loyalist, Louisiania and Shenandoah from the Magellan as the detachment from the Battleship Alma was to take over by the executive officer of the Battlegroup, Rear Admiral Helena Montrose of the Battleship Columbia.

Guardian Angel - 827 A.S-Onwards

With the Shenandoah surviving such bad place for the Battleship type vessel and her experience as a elite ship growing, Liberty Navy decided to retrofit Shenandoah into the newest Mitchell-class Liberty Dreadnought to serve more efficiently in the Navy. With the this decision, the vessel is currently to this day a rival to the Battleship Delaware and Battleship Arkansas which were the first Mitchell-class vessels ever to be launched into Navy service. After the retrofit of the Shenandoah, she went on to support anti-terrorist operations within the New York system before being sent to the Hudson system to secure interests for the Liberty as the Rheinland was changing from the Federal Republic to the Imperial - which created a turmoil and in the end, the civil war. With the relations cold now between Republic of Liberty and Imperial Rheinland, Shenandoah secured the refugee route and protected the Cold Bay Depot from any possible Unioner or Rheinland attacks which was a possibility. Shenandoah was later sent back to Planet Houston in Texas to resupply and to reinforce the Battleship Arkansas in the system.

With the Battleship Concord moving onto the Bering system to remove the Liberty Separatists threat and the criminal one, the Shenandoah was ordered to join up with the Battleship Concord to support it in the assault and when it begun - the Shenandoah's commanding officer, Captain Alice Heyes wasn't present and thus the Executive Officer was given a chance to finally show his skills of commanding an Battleship, however, the commanding officer of Shenandoah was away on other vessel which was taking part of the assault and sadly, an Hellfire Battlecruiser came out of cloak and rammed a vessel which didn't damaged ship much, however Captain Alice Heyes suffered a hit and went into coma state after. With this unfortunate turn of the events, the vessel was left without an XO - as officer re-signed from duty - and the commanding officer. After the vessel returned to Planet Houston after the Bering operation, it was decided that the ship will be transferred to the First Fleet and the commanding officer position was given to the capable Captain Marcus Robinson - known for his skills in capital ship warfare.

With the California system being struck with an allied attack of the Liberty Separatists and Hellfire Legion under one banner of the so called Liberty Insurgency, the Shenandoah was relocated to the Planet California Minor to defend the Planet from the terrorist attacks of the Liberty Insurgency. Shenandoah currently stands as the elite Battleship of the Liberty Navy, and her future seems to be very much in fame as she engages with patrols across the Core worlds mainly with her known escort of four gunboats and several fighter pilots from the 919th "Freedom Fighters" squadron.
