Whether captured during patrols or retrieved from their escape pods after a battle, Prisoners are confined to the brig on board battleships until they can be transferred to a prison for methodical interrogation and possibly long term incarceration. Prisoners of war are often ransomed or exchanged, although some soldiers serve out their tour of duty in a prison cell.
