The Lynx used to be pretty overpowered, being one of the fastest, most durable, and having some of the most firepower of all of the fighters in the game, with a thin frame. It's been balanced out, now. It's still got the great hull and thin frame, it has 6 forward-firing guns, but its maneuverability has been reduced significantly. It is now one of the slower fighters, although it still turns quickly enough for its size, and is an effective fighter. Not to mention how pleasing the blue engines can be to watch.
