This is a powerful rapid-firing capital ship turret. Its design is similar to codename weapon bearing the same name. Solaris turrets are available from many different places in Sirius. Solaris turrets have an additional short range targeting system, making them deadly accurate. This turret fires high velocity projectiles and requires enormous amounts of energy to fire. This was the fastest firing capital ship turret available before the introduction of the Solaris Gatling Turret.
