The Battleship License is a special item that indicates its owner's right to fly a battleship. Licenses are used both by lawful and unlawful factions to identify the ship's owner and alignment. The License can be purchased for 250 million credits on every planet or base that sells battleship-class warships (Battleships, Dreadnoughts, Carriers, Juggernauts, and others).
The Battleship License is installed on each battleship bound with a long-range scanner. This allows nearby ships to check if the License is valid.

Cargo Scan Range: 4000m
