  • Independent Miners are freelancing miners. They are considered thieves by most mining corporations and are generally driven away from claimed resources. In many cases they affiliate themselves with another faction, such as the Zoners.

Pilot carrying this quasi-lawful ID is an Independent Miner, who:

  • Can attack any ship in self-defense or to protect an allied or neutral ship.
  • Cannot use any transports with more than 3,600 cargo.
  • Cannot participate in unlawful actions except as described above.
