Since the treaty of Manhattan was withdrawn and unlawfuls are no longer safe within New Yorks fair open space we have been stretched very thin. Another large battle was fought against the Lane Hackers above Manhattan yesterday which resulted in a comprehensive victory for Liberty forces.
Today my patrol began with the destruction of a Corsair Gunboat, then a Cruiser with assistance from LSF comrades. A smuggler VH Daxter was the next victim who met his end after a long battle. His agile Blood Dragon fighter being hard to pin down. Then two Xenos decided to test our resolve at Missouri Bernodette and Tex.. Bernodette was destroyed and Tex was forced to flee after a long engagement. A short time later BLS Zapp engaged us then fled the scene of his crime.
Trader Glphstorm ran a blockade with a full hold of Cardamine and refused to stop, radioing ahead somehow the smuggler still managed to dock on Manhattan even though I demanded they refuse docking rights. Heads should roll at Space traffic control central. As of now Glyphstorm is to be destroyed on contact for Drug smuggling crimes.
Another Xeno Scott Shelton wished to test his skills against us but bit off more than he could chew and was destroyed while tring to dock in a trade lane to make good his escape. Then we had a Cylon R-A206-975 designatiol. He quilcy managed to destroy my wingman Gladiator but was unable to score damage on myself and took hull damage from one of my torps when SA gunboat Longshot appeared. The Cylon took to evasion and darted in and out on Newark before fleeing to Buffalo pursued all the way. I requested the Gunboat stand down so I may get the Cylon to face me instead of his constant evasion which the captain of the Longshot did so under protest. shortly afterwards I had reduced the Cylon to 1 tizona and a mine launcher left and he took to circiling Buffalo in a futile attempt to avoid a download. Others arrived and the Cylon was destroyed shortly afterwards.

Apparently,the Xeno pilot,Scott Sheldon,that Capt.Carpenter of the LSF thought he had killed,was in fact alive.I've intercepted him in the LNS Mt.Blackburn,just outside planet Manhattan,our beloved home,and destroyed his ship,hopefully this time he is really dead.Another Xeno pilot,that was fighting on his side,managed to escape(he was underleveled).
I ran a full system sweep,status was green.No hostile activities.

Another busy shift today as I launched from the Missouri and was ordered to Buffalo. Just as I arrived LR Millenium was destroyed. Later myself and Black Dog chased down and destroyed AR Steve Lock in his Barghest bomber. Just in time as it happened as my radar lit up with new contacts. It was 2 Gunboats a bomber and a fighter arriving to support Lock just a fraction too late. I ordered Black Dog to withdraw and attemted to engage the contacts who were hungry for my blood. the 2 Gunboats and fighter stayed with me but the bomber followed Black Dog and managed to destroy his ship some time later.
I pulled the Gunboats from the NY jump hole in Texas all the way to Houston and tried to score damage as best I could under heavy fire. The AR bomber arrived and my Nanos chewed up I docked on Houston lucky to escape with my life.
Later in NY, a Phantom was detected. Myself and Director Sniper engaged the fiend and I scored several missile salvos on him. The Director withdrew to attend to other matters and LSF Gladiator arrived. Instructing Gladiator to lead the Phantom who was concentrating on Gladiator as his target I mangaged to score more damage on him as Gladiator weaved and deployed mines which ultimatley the Phantom hit one after I reduced his sheild and his ship exploded.
Later myself, Falcon and Pluto were organising a patrol into Alaska when suddenly the Lane Hacker Gunship Tekinal jumped in front of us. I ordered our pilots to engage and we severley damaged the ship to the point that the Commander of the Gunship must have lost his mind and purposely drove his ship headfirst into the minefield at the Alaska Jump Gate! No damage was sustained on any of our fighters. Undocking from the Misouri after this battle we were confronted with Gunboat AR Allen Murphy who was right outside the Missouri! He died quickly. Bizarley AR Murphy was back in New York 1 hour later and was contacted on private comms to ask he leave. His reply was his ship was only shot not destroyed previously. That being the case we destroyed the fool again! Next the Outcast Discordant Melodies was unfortunate to fly straight into our wing of 2 light fighters and 3 VHF's. He tried several times to escape after undergoing punishing fire but could not and met his end.

The Xenos Pheonix has been seen repeatedly in the California system making claims that he would "clense the unclean." I take this as a threat but have so far been unable to track him down. Last reports suggest he has changed his ID but this is unconfirmed.
The night before this report was written, after LSF Liquid and Gladiator retired from their duties, El Nina and another Xenos in a fighter began launching raids into the New york system. One LSF officer and an indipendant acting in support of him were destroyed by El Nina, who was piloting a Corsair cruiser. I attempted brieflly to engage the Xenos fighter but was chased off by the Cruiser before I could cause damage to either of them. After leading them on a stern chase I took refuge at Manhattan.
Today I spotted a trade ship transporting Cardimine to Manhattan through the Cali system. I was unable to catch up to him or get a solid reading on his holds, however, as he passed me in the trade lane while my systems were recovering from a Hackers attack. I radioed ahead to an LSF officer, who was unresponsive, and made best speed to persue the smuggler after my systems were restored. I sent another message to LSF Gladiator after he came on-duty but by then it was too late to stop him.
On my way out of the New York system on an escort missioni I came across another vessel transporting Cardimine. The pilot, MACK-TRUCK, was in a Train class transport and refused to drop his cargo when I challenged him. I disrupted the trade lane then chased him, repeatedly hitting him with cruise disruptors and demanding that he drop his cargo. Eventually, however, I was forced to destroy his vessel and dispose of the Artifacts. He managed to safely launch an escape pod and complained about loosing money.
Enclosed is a small sample of "Care" that I promised to put in this memmo for the smuggler pilot.

Launching today I came across a Cylon Destroyer, Designation: =CYLON=Attackstar-A001. I called for back up and engaged the vessel supported by the Gunboat =LSF=Maverick and SA Mathew Anobi. Another Cylon arrived in a bomber craft and after awile Anobi's ship was destroyed as well as the Cylon destroyer. The remaing Cylon fought on for a short period then fled the scene.
Later with Anobi recovered and operating as my wing man in California we came a across a Corsair ID Cruiser, Designation: Maras. We engaged the vessel after several orders to leave Liberty were ignored and destroyed the vessel with the help of a passing Bounty Hunter.
Shortly afterwards I encountered Rogue bomber LR Slewis lane hacking in New York. I engaged the pirate and after a short encounter he chose to run for Buffalo. The pilot ran all the way to Buffalo and staring dockin manouvers to far from base so I destroyed his craft under fire from the rogue base.
Later still I went to California to track a Xeno crimnal and requested back up once I realised there was multiple contacts in Colorado. The Xeno was intercepted by a combined SA/LSF force and did not have a hope of survival as we numbered 5 fighter and 1 gunboat. Next LH Refrigerator passed and was scanned with
Cardamine, an incredible 300 plus Bounty Hunter pilots, 30 brave Navy pilots and 2 Cruiser commanders. After repeated hails for him to stop myself and the Gunboat Maverick pursued our prey to California whaere we engaged the vessel who returned fire upon us. Realising he was defeated the Hacker now attempted to surrender but I judged this too little to late. Failure to obey a miltary command and opening fire on military vessels. This will not go unpunished and I ordered the Hackers vessels destruction and contacted LA for retrieval of the seized cargo.

Argh...
I'll get straight to the point. A massive combined force of Xenos and Phantoms, along with a Corsair, totaling about eight fighters and two bombers broke through our borders and struck at our headquarters station, Westpoint Military Academy. The undermanned garrison of New York made haste to the area, and arrived in drips and drabs, to the advantage of the enemy. Indeed, I myself joined the battle as the enemy had massed, missing the chance to strike them as they were assembling.
I would like to think that if things had been done differently, the outcome of the battle would have been different. But that would be a trick of the mind.
Westpoint is undergoing intensive repairs and the debris field created by the battle is being cleared. Our heart has been pierced by the most fearsome of enemies, and there was nothing I, nor the garrison, could do about it.
I escaped with my life, barely. Launders held them off long enough for me to escape along with what was left of our defensive force, but he was caught by the marauding invaders. Bloody hero boy, he is. He refuses orders when they suit him! But, he did save my life. Catch me by the bar on Manhattan sometime Launders, I owe you one. Oh, and that wreck you call your old Claw is going to be replaced by one fresh off the production line as soon as the first shipment comes in. Try to get used to it, I know its not like the old one, but it should wear in pretty well.

Todays attack was evidence enough. Pride is a good thing to have but you shouldnt let it weaken your ability. Your enemies are waiting for you to grow weak and complacent. Today there where 5 mercenary ships in position to assist your Valliant but outmatched security force their assistance may have turned the tide your enemies are legion now is not a good day to be making new ones.
