It would appear that the LSF have already put this issue of making TAZ ships "KoS" to rest. Therefore I am hoping that our voluntary appearance in Manhattan will satisfy the Southern Alliance as well, and put an end to this unfortunate mud-slinging.

Today I destroyed a suspected enemy Starflier called Amigo[101st] (//L5), in my Defender (//level 28), after he refused when asked by someone to drop some pilots.
This, I later found out, was both immoral and dishonest. The pilot was a civillan.
The player was a casualty of war, in the conflict that currently takes place in New York involving criminals in small ships (//using low levels as a shield to protect them as they conduct criminal activities)).

However, that doesn't change the fact I un-justfully killed a civilian. For this reason, I am sending 5 million credits of my own savings to the family of the deceased. I am truly sorry for what transpired above Manhattan tonight.

((You may have seen Hackers, and the like, lurking in NY, hiding in their low-level ships, attacking other low-level players. I made my defender to deal with this infestation, and unfortunately I was careless this time. I am truly sorry for my actions, and will ensure this does not happen again. I am told no admin involvement will follow, but I insist on sending 5 mill to the player I killed wrongly. ))

Pilot Kindred wanted for Artifact smuggling was destroyed today after refusal to pay a 1 million fine for his crime.


The pilot was destroyed and lost a hold full of diamonds after claiming he was smuggling Antiques and demandes evidence. Therefore he has been punished and is no longer a wanted man. Monitor his activities though.

Today, a mixed day for our forces. The New York defence grid came back online with a new addition, a system wide shield generator. Whilst this may initially seem good, there are failures in its design which mean that all ships are protected, even those committing unlawful actions such as the smuggler below:

I was powerless to stop him from docking on Buffalo station and unloading all of his Cardimine, and then he had the nerve to proclaim that he was doing nothing wrong! While his escort was shooting me, no less! Normally, I would issue a fine, but as this group consists of known outcasts, a simple cargo confiscation and destruction is in order.

Moving on, a little later a small hacker force penetrated Texas and I moved to engage with support in the form of LSF agent Black Wing. The fight was hard, we were two fighters against a Blood Dragon BLS tagged fighter and two Lane Hacker gunboats, but support arrived in overwhelming force. The opposition received some help from a rogue, making it three gunboats against an unending tide of fighters and bombers. The victory once our forces had all engaged was swift, with the gunboats succumbing to our fire one by one. The small BLS fighter was a pain due to his tiny size, but he was dealt the killing blow by a nova shot from Richard Lane aboard the bomber, Panzershreck.

Remember, servants of Liberty, give no quarter, and expect none in return!

At this time members of the Temporary Autonomous Zoners are to be permitted
entrance into Liberty, however as with all traders and mercenaries alike they must
receive a cargo scan on entrance, and on exit. The matter of the re-supply the level
0 Terrorist organization "Phantoms" pilot is still under investigation and may take
and extended amount of time to reach a complete and through verdict.

Until then please permit all TAZ pilots entrance under the same rules as any other
neutral or lawful pilot, this is in the interest of keeping please and maintain good

While downloading images from the Manhattan Traffic Scanners I came across a Cardamine smuggler.

It showed he docked and offloaded his cargo of drugs on Planet Manhattan.

Please keep your scanners peeled for [LR]-Memphor as well as giving very through scans on all [LR] ships when encountered. Recomend Memphor be put on our kos list.
