After a chaotic start to the day, I retired to my quarters for most of the day, and came back on duty in the night shift.

The chaos started when two lawfuls engaged hostiles who lured them into a debris field near Manhatten. I responded quickly to aid the LSF agent who was in trouble, and the immediate threat was soon taken care of. Unfortunately, more hostiles came soon after, and it turned into a blood-bath around an unknown station in the debris field. We were ordered to retreat after Command realised we were deep in their domain, and did not know the terrain. Although the unknown station emitted unusual EM Waves to disrupt sensors and recording media, i managed to salvage one image of the fight.

When i came back on duty later in the day, three Bounty Hunters, Digamma's I, II and III all came to my aid sometime during my shift to help out with pirates. One such instance is when i was engaged by a pirate named Psychopath, and Digamma's II and III both rushed to my aid, and the threat was soon taken care of. As a result, i paid them both for their help.

Next, i came across a pirate named Ki||er, who was causing a right mess in New York. My onboard camera was still having problems, caused by the EM interference of the unknown station noted previously in my report, but I did manage to snap a photo of two experimental weapons on board the pirates ship. After i successfully neutralised the threat, the two experimental weapons were salvaged. I took the weapons to the Armaments Division in Detroit Munitions, and they were fascinated by the design of the weapons, and what kind of energy they output. They found the weapons would be able to be fitted to a fighter or bomber class vessel. As you know, I majored in Vacuum energy fields and Material Flux Density at University, and so I have made rough plans to retrofit my Avenger class fighter with these new weapons. I thought it would be best to ask for High Command permission to use these weapons, and I am eagerly awaiting your response.

Nothing but a few smugglers for the rest of the day, starting with [OTC]Herakles, who breeched the secure zone of Alaska, and thought he could run his illegal artifacts all the way to Manhatten. Oh how wrong he was. Myself and other Navy personelle guarded Zone-21, and as soon as Herakles came through the gate, we opened fire. He was destroyed shortly after. It may have been a bit brazen to immediately open fire on the target, but there's something about a smuggler attempting to pass through a HIGHLY restricted area carrying illegal goods, disobeying any and all orders given to him by Navy officers that really pushes my tolerance.

Next, a convoy of Trains attempted to smuggle Diamonds from New Berlin into New York. With assistance from a Liberty Cruiser and Gunboat, the LNC-Iowa and LNS-Dawn, we manged to apprehend the bewildered traders, who did not know about the Rhienland-Liberty trade embargo. Gunner.1, Gunner-Trans-2 and [Nebulon] all complied with our orders to return to Rhienland.

D.Akers was the last smuggler who had artifacts on-board his ship. Unfortunately, he escaped and is now wanted for questioning and a substantial fine.

An eventful day for me and my fellow officers. I began my patrol in Colorado, as my ship was stationed on the Rio Grande from last night's patrol. I took the tradelanes around Colorado, everything quiet until I returned to the Rio Grande and found Locrian - a coalition supporter in a Raven's Claw. I ordered him to leave but he did not. I asked again, but he just sat there. I opened fire, destroying his shields as I looped back toward him. I destroyed him with my magma hammers and he was gone. The funny thing was however, he never moved or fired back. After that interesting encounter, I jumped back to New York continuing my patrol.

I took the tradelanes around Fort Bush, into Manhattan and back into West Point. My fellow officers and several LSF Agents were in need of assistance as two Lane Hackers in Light Fighters were causing trouble near West Point. I arrived on the battle and engaged the fighters. Their missiles and weapons tore through many officers and I was no exception. One of their missiles veered and slammed into my ship, causing my engine to detonate. My pod escaped the blast, and I received medical treatment from the physicians on West Point.

After the Lane Hacker incident, I patrolled the rest of the systems, going into Texas and back into Colorado. For a few hours, there were no incidents I can report. I continued patrolling around the high populated areas and found nothing.

Much later in the day, Phantoms began asking people to play their "Hide 'n' seek". Vice Admiral Hale ordered everyone to search for these terroists. I began patrolling the Texas-Norfolk line when I found Locrian again. I was with Ensign Willian Talon at the time and again, ordered him out. He left without incident however, as he took the lane to the texas gate without a word.

I patrolled the Texas-Norfolk line but the phantoms were not there. Vice Admiral Hale was also headed my direction so I formed on his wing. We explored the perimeter of the Badlands but no sign of them. We continued searching above the plane, until we found them above the Rogue Destroyer. There were two of them- Delirium in a Corsair Praetorian Bomber and DarkBlossom in a Slipstream. It was 2v2 until more of our reinforcements came. I have no information on who came, but they were destroyed. Delirium's mini razor and torpedoes were the hazard in this fight. The Vice Admiral and I concentrated fire on the bomber. We damaged the shields and the hull, but not enough to send him running. Around 25 standard minutes, another phantom arrived by the name of Nightsmoke. He was in a Kusari Catarmaran Bomber, and attacked us as well. We also had another ship come in, Ensign William Talon arrived and replenished the Vice Admiral's ammo. Still firing on Delirium, we continued damaging his vessel. Suddenly, they began concentrating their attack on me. I dodged and weaved, as their mini razors and torpedoes shot out my shields, but no hull. Vice Admiral Hale ordered us to attack DarkBlossom. We damaged him severely, and the battle split in two. Ensign Talon and Delirium moved 5k out, while we were headed toward the Badlands, trying to catch the running DarkBlossom. He finally engaged cruise 10 standard minutes later, and one phantom had left. NightSmoke still remained and fought furiously. The Vice Admiral and I quickly shot his shields and his hull. Around 5 standard minutes later, he also engaged his cruise engines and fled. Vice Admiral Hale and I thrusted back to Ensign Talon, attacking Delirium. After the bomber began spirialing down toward the Rogue destroyer in hopes of getting more firepower, the Vice Admiral believed that Ensign Talon and I could take care of him. He left as the Destroyer's weapons fired on us. A few minutes later, Ensign Talon was suddenly destroyed by a torpedo shot by the Phantom. I continued firing on the bomber. 10 standard minutes later, I was suddenly shot with a razor and a torpedo. My ship exploded and I was again, sent back to West Point.

Eventful day today, cram packed with pirates, smugglers and illusive Phantoms.

Weedalot was the first smuggler to start the day off when he was caught smuggling slaves out of Housten. Unfortunately he escaped, and then escaped again...and then again. His ability to pass through a tradelane whilst it was down perplexed me, and this was the reason he was not caught the first time. Currently there is a $12mil fine on his head.

Moon-Curser was caught soon after hauling Cardamine, and he too managed to speed right pass a downed trade lane. He managed to deliver the goods, but he paid the $4mil fine after undocking. Later on in the day however, he was caught with Light Arms, and failed to admit where they were headed.He is wanted for questioning.

In Texas i also encountered a Zoner in a Talarca cruiser carrying a Nomad. He too failed to stop, but escaped to Bering carrying the Nomad entity. I only hope he knew the Nomad was on-board his ship, and it didn't somehow sneak aboard.

A few Outcasts then came along to try and stop us doing our job, they regretted the day they encountered Jack Malrone on the battlefield. Myself and an automated LPI unit engaged the two Outcasts, and both were successfully destroyed.

After that, i got advanced warning of a Mercenary carrying Nomad Weaponry entering Texas. Fortunately, the Mercenary came straight to myself and the LPI unit. I asked him about the Nomad weaponry, and he immediately opened fire, leveling my shields. I scrambled for the shield batteries, and we engaged the target. The Mercenary named 'Merc', a very original name i know, was destroyed and the Nomad weapons vaporised.

A battle erupted around Manhatten orbit, and I ordered all officers to respond. A number of pirates had started to engage a [KoF] stationed outside Newark, and all available officers had responded to the distress call. A large battle ensued, and lawful officers were being destroyed one by one. We almost destroyed one of the pirates when another swooped down and killed the assaulting officer. My ship was destroyed by an apparent SuperNova shot to the hull...when i was behind the assailant.

After my backup ship had been launched an annoying Hacker in an Arrow by the name of Arielle Miller engaged me at West Point. The new ship appeared to have a few bugs in it at first, and as such, i requested some backup to take out the annoyance. The target escaped into the Badlands.

Another Hacker was encountered at Fort Bush, where he somehow hacked into docking protocol and managed to dock at Fort Bush. A complete search of Fort Bush commenced, and they are still searching for the target.

Andy_TNY was then found exiting the jumpgate to Alaska. I engaged him on sight, and he was then stupid enough to fly straight into the mines around Zone-21...mercenaries truly are a stupid bunch.

A smuggler, Scarecrow, was then seen very soon after entering Zone-21, and was nullified also.

Minutes later, SunDog and Triple88A, a artifacts smuggler and a Corsair respectively, were caught entering Zone-21. With backup i engaged the two, destroying the smuggler, whilst the Corsair escaped back through Alaska. I do hope the Nomads get him.

Spray was also encountered around Zone-21 and in Alaska, and he was carrying Nomads. He escaped whilst we were distracted with the Corsair and smuggler. He is wanted for intensive questioning. Day summary:

Greetings,

The Sub-Lieutenant Malrone and myself found a smuggler called Moby near the Planet Manhattan. He did not stopped as we ordered and was going to land. We destroyed his ship and the artefacts. Moby has been sent to the justice.


We received report of pirate activities in California. LNS-Dawn got there first, then the mercenary [Merc]Fear.Thy.Love came to assist as the hostile was A Corsair Cruiser Jefe_Legartuga and a hacker Muffy. Jefe was kidnapping many pilots. He had on board commanders, gunboat captains, Liberty Navy pilots, Liberty Police pilots and civilians. As ordered he released the Liberty Navy Pilots. Then he flew away and he had still on board the other pilots. We ordered him to stop...But we had to disrupt his engines. Then he started firing on us. We took him down together. All hostages were delivered safely to the nearest station.
The hacker hasn't been taken care of as we were to preoccupied with the cruiser...


On my global long range scanner, I have detected a known rogue in California...Doomsday.Heart... LNS-Dawn found her but she escaped. After she was proud to send transmission of her last criminal activities. Apparently, she pirated traders and made 7 million credits off them...

Once again the day started off with a bang; several Xenos and pirates were attacking New York, and i responded with the full force of my weapons. Most of the Xenos were downed, but the pirates then swooped in after we had suffered damage from the Xenos, and wiped most of the lawfuls out. An Outcast destroyer and a 522 Battlecruiser were the main concerns in the battle, and we focused our fire on the Battlecruiser first. I was moving in for the kill shot on the Battlecruiser when i saw the white glow of the Navy cruiser's forward gun heading toward the battlecruiser. I knew the blast from the battlecruiser would vaporise my ship, and so i immediately ejected. Not one moment too soon, as i saw my bomber explode from my escape pod.

I was then stationed in Texas to enforce the Rhienland-Liberty trade embargo, and to stop general smugglers. The first law-breaker i caught however, was not a smuggler. He was a mercenary carrying dangerous Nomad weaponry. I asked him to halt, but he just continued on and ignored me. Noukon was last seen headed to New York.

Then, a brazen and idiotic smuggler entered Texas by the name of Weedalot. He has been caught many times with Cardamine and Slaves on board, but has never paid his fines, which totaled over $18mil. I asked him to pay the fines, but he did not answer and engaged cruise engines. I stopped him with some disruptors, and asked again that he drop the drugs and pay the fines. I then noticed a small fighter buzzing around, also carrying a small amount of Cardamine. Whilst i was distracted by this fighter, Weedalot attempted to escape again, and at this point, i realised he wasn't going to obey Liberty law, and i opened fire on him. The fighter, named Isoist, then proceeded to engage me. Whilst dodging his fire, and the fire from Weedalots turrets, i managed to land some SuperNova shots on Weedalot's hull, which put his out of commission. Seeing how quickly i took down Weedalot, the fighter quickly thrustered away from my ship, but i wasn't going to let him get off that easily. Unfortunately, seeing as he had an agile Raven Claw (obviously stolen from the LSF), he managed to outmanouver me and escape to New York. I encountered him a number of times during the day, and finally caught up with him back in Texas. He was ordered to pay the $4mil fine for smuggling Cardamine on two occasions, but he said he didn't have the money. I accepted the 400k that he offered me, on the condition that he turn the ship in to the LSF. I have not heard back from the LSF about a stolen ship being turned into their authority however.

I returned to New York, after the pirates in the earlier attack had been heavily damaged from the Manhatten defense grid, and there i found a low-level smuggler named Moby. He was smuggling artifacts, and was not willing to relinquish them to me. I proceeded to chase the target most of the way to West Point, but then got word of a pirate named Mindless.Murder assaulting Manhatten. I ended the chase, and returned to Manhatten, where i engaged and destroyed the obviously insane pirate.

Minutes later, i caught Moby undocking from Manhatten hauling Counterfeit Software. Once again, he failed to obey orders, however he made it to the tradelane before i could catch him.

I then got a request on the private communications system to help a transporter get a load of highly classified weapons to Fort Bush. DenverDream was the name of the transport, and we agreed to meet in Texas for an inspection of the weapons and ship. Everything checked out, and i successfully escorted the transport to Fort Bush with only a minor annoyance along the way (Isoist). From what i understand, the weapons are now being tested for possible use in the field.

I returned to Texas to do a system check, and was shocked to see Weedalot there with a full load of Caradmine! Once again, i politely asked him to stop, drop and pay. Naturally he started to run, I took down the tradelane to Housten, however he did a 180 degree turn and managed to make his way back to Bering. Luckily a Bounty Hunter was in Bering at the time, and engaged the smuggler, seeing as there was a 500k bounty on all Cardamine smugglers. Weedalot was destroyed, and all the Cardamine vaporised. I hope Weedalot gets the message that Liberty does not tolerate smugglers, however i have no doubt he will return and try it again.

On my way back to New York, TheTinticKid met me half way down a tradelane. He has been convicted of trespassing in Zone-21, and thought it would be best to give his cargo bay a quick scan. There i found a Nomad cannon equipped. I ordered he leave Liberty, to which there was no response. He proceeded to engage me, and so i fired back. He must have engaged some sort of cloak or hyper-drive system, because he soon disappeared from my sensors and there was no visuals on him. Another Navy officer, Frank Horrigan encountered him again in Texas about 10 minutes later, where he engaged the target. My comms systems started acting up soon after, and i do not know the outcome of the fight.

Lieutenant Rick Gunner then came on duty, and helped me with Moby, the repeat smuggler. As the Lieutenant's report states, Moby was destroyed after failing to comply with orders. Lieutenant Rick Gunner then took command after that, and went off duty.

After some much needed downtime I returned to active patrol this evening, first to fall was a Mindless Murderer in a Spatial with the assist of Mobius_One on my wing. Next Outcast Imposter was giving Mobius a hard time and with the precense of an Outcast Destroyer in system I ordered the small fleet I had assembled to converge on Imposter and hold together assuming the Destroyer would assist his friend. Fortunatley he did not and Imposter was destroyed.

Next came the infamous Onyx Wollfe who was pirating near WP, he managed to shoot down a IMG Viper that moved to assist before LNS Freedom and myself destroyed his bomber. Now the Destroyer made his appearance and attacked, again fortune was with us as LNS Dawn arrived, making our forces 2 GB's and my fighter against the Destroyer, after a short battle the Destroyer was taken down with no losses on our side.

Good to be back in the cockpit again, paper work was weighing me down.

I would like to correct Lieutenant Malrone that I am a Government Official.
And to shed light on the situation regarding the entity known as 'TheTinticKid' I encountered him over orbit of Houston flying a Civillian Bomber.
Nomadic Detector's immediately pinged red and I ordered the ship to a halt... He tried to fire on me however due to superior training as Powell's Bodyguard his ship was nearly destroyed in the first pass.
Sensing immediate termination the suspect fled and I pursued. I regret to announce however that I misjudged myself and tried to shoot him down before his engines were engaged, however I chased him keeping a 1.5K distance between me and his ship before he wandered off into uncharted space in the Texas System.

Luckily my special task force deals in such things as theft of government property. And we expect to have full details of the theft shortly.
Luckily my raid in Bering on Weedalot destroyed the Raven's Claw Vessel however it seems the escape pod dissappeared whilst engaging Weedalot's transport.

I guess I should start filling in the blanks.
Since it was a slow day I took to space responding to a call for backup from Lieutenant Malrone, Upon arrival an immediate SITREP was issued to me and I proceed, my identity hidden, to Bering where sadly I was immediately engaged by Weedalot mistaking my ship for Malrone...
I also suspect the escort known as 'isoist' is infected with lolspeex disease.

It appears after the trap laid for Malrone was springed Weedalot attempted to harass my ship... his escort payed dearly for it.

I engaged the Trader and shortly after a Bounty Hunter Orca appeared, he assisted me and was paid the 100 Credits per Cardimine Bounty issued by the Navy... You can thank us for paying your bills later...

I then proceeded back to Newark Station while Malrone went to investigate a disturbance at Zulu Oscar November Echo Twenty One.

8:45 GMT+2: Armored-Transport-Monor flees from LN forces when confronted about Nomad Powercell. He is to be considered KOS.
9:08 GMT+2: Pistolero, Rogue GB, runs from LN forces at West Point. Is later destroyed.
9:35 GMT+2: {RaVeN}-Beauty is killed for having a pirate tag, RPing a pirate in system chat, and engaging a civilian while flying a Defender. Was level 33 at the time of destruction.

Today, at approximately 1340 Sirius time, a Rhienland cruiser was caught entering Texas and collecting data that may contain to matters of national security. He also broadcast the fact that he kidnapped Liberty Navy officers from Alaska, and that he (or the Rhienland military) was going to experiment on them. The target, RNC-Schwere.Faust, refused to drop the Navy pilots, and also failed to comply with orders to cut engines and allow officers to board the ship and inspect the cruiser's computer systems. Lieutenant William Darkmoor was the C.O at the time, and obviously fearing an international incident, ordered not to engage unless fired upon. I chased the cruiser for approximately 5 minutes through the Texas system until backup arrived. By that time, the target had escaped to Hudson, and back to New Berlin. Personally, with no disrespect meant towards Lt. Darkmoor, I would have rather risk an international incident than have Navy officers kidnapped and have god only knows what happen to them in Rhienland: I don't leave my people behind. I would recommend contacting the Rhienland government to resolve this issue ASAP. If i find that cruiser in Texas, kidnapping Naval officers again, i may not be able to follow commands to cease fire...

My day report is contained below, however, i would like to apologise to Government Official Frank Horrigan for mistaking his identity, his new rank of Special Agent is noted in my logs. The day started off with a smuggler named starblazer attempting to smuggle thousands of illegal artifacts into Liberty. Finally they have fired those idiots at Manhatten docking control and hired some sharp tacks it seems; starblazer was denied access to dock at Manhatten. He circled Manhatten, with myself hot on his heels, knowing that backup was just minutes away, starblazer headed into the debris field near Manhatten, at which point my sensors got distorted and i was forced to return for Manhatten for a systems check. When starblazer returned to Manhatten orbit, he had got rid of the artifacts, and had only consumer goods on board. Luckily, I had proof of his attempt at smuggling, and he got hit with a $4mil fine. He paid the full amount and was reasonably co-operative after he had got rid of the artifacts.

Soon after this, sensors alerted me to two intruders in Zone-21. Video camera footage streaming live from one of the weapons platforms in Zone-21 showed that it was a fighter and transport who had tripped the sensors. I made my way to the area post haste, and engaged both targets on sight. They seemed utterly confused as to why I had immediately engaged them: I guess they thought that hacking into the Alaska jumpgate was perfectly legal, and the Navy wouldn't mind. They were gravely mistaken. The transport was no match for my agile Ageria Bomber, and was destroyed quite quickly. The fighter was a little more annoying, and managed to re-open the gate to Alaska, probably utilizing information stored in the short-term buffer of the jumpgate. He escaped back to Omicron Minor. Perhaps we should put a massive sign outside the Zone saying "Intruders will be KILLED ON SIGHT", as it seems the lethal mines are no deterrence for the idiotic traders/smugglers who attempt to enter the Zone. Just a thought...

I then returned to Norfolk, where i met Archelon, who was carrying engine components from Rhienland. He complied with orders to return to Rhienland, and no other actions were neccessary thankfully.

Some time later, I caught Xenocide smuggling artifacts into New York from California. The person who informed me will remain nameless, but is thanked for their assistance. Unfortunately, before i could begin writing up the fine, LNS-Dawn issued a mayday that Outcasts had assaulted West Point, and that the gunboat was under heavy fire from a Destroyer and two Sabre's. I responded immediately, and i ordered the smuggler not to power up engines until i returned. Naturally Xenocide left. The Outcast destroyer was overpowering us, that is until the Navy Assault Battlecruiser, Kearsarge_Matt, swung into action, leveling the battlecruiser in moments. One of the Sabres was also downed, however one managed to escape with hostages on board. The LNS-Dawn was destroyed, but I am glad to report that all of her crew was saved. After much arduous talking with Xenocide, he agreed to turn himself in, and pay the $4mil fine.

I then took my lunch break, and came back to find the Rhienland cruiser in Texas (as detailed in the Amber Alert above). The Rhienland theme continued when i stopped two smugglers attempting to break the trade embargo between Rhienland and Liberty. The first, Sclavu_Ion, was a real pain and refused to answer where his diamonds were from. He continued to Manhatten after i repeatedly ordered him to halt. He sold the diamonds on Manhatten, and I ordered a Kill On Sight directive. He seemed bewildered that i could do such a thing, but a SuperNova soon shut him up. He was destroyed and i could have sworn i heard his voice over the comms after his death...

The second smuggler, Eretnek, complied fully with orders, and no force was necessary.

Another fascinating game on the job, with a multitude of situations that I have been thrown into with many other loyal officers. We came out on top, although my mine continues to drift to what happened to those Navy officers on board the Rhienland Cruiser. We must get them back...
