I have grave news concerning the Lansing. Yesterday on patrol, we were ambushed by 2 HF bombers, Swooping Osprey and Andrew LeBlanc. Our crew fought valiantly, however the bombers got the better of us and we were forced to surrender the ship. We were transported on one of the pirate's ships and had lost all sense of time and direction. We soon found ourselves at Bethleham in Pennsylvania with the Lansing missing. Before we abandoned the ship, our crew scrambled as much information possible and the ship was not in good shape to say the least. Her engines were inoperable along with most of the defence systems and there were breaches on decks 2 and 4. Luckily, most of us were able to return to Planet Los Angeles.
Final casualty/MIA count: 3
If at earliest convinience, there is another gunboat without a Commander and crew, we would certainly like to get her running again.

Report: Cartel Ships engaged.
Well, it was painful.
*Sounds of a medical bay are heard*
I was with the LSF Agent Fortunate Son, and a Freelancer who happened to be around, I forget his name. We moved to California and found 2 Cartel agents, a bomber and a Tridente gunship.
The Freelancer was the only VHF present, so we were hoping he could down the bomber. However, he was shot down within 30 seconds of combat.
Determined me and Fortunate Son continued battling, but I was targeted by both of them and FOrtunate Son started having problems ((Red Lag)). After a while, my shields failed, and one of the gunboats missles struck home.
I apologise for the failure, I'm currently on the San Francisco resting, I gave myself a nasty knock on the head when I ejected.

Demand for more Patrols past Pitt is increasing. When me and Mace patrol there, we often find ourselves needed elsewhere, yet the miners say they 'can't take it anymore', and threaten to sue or worse.
However, I don't understand why they want us there. It always seems so quiet, barely ever a pirate attack, and even then, only Bloodhounds. Its like they're just trying to distract us.
Should we redirect more there, or just ignore them? Im tired of listening to them whine! We have more important things to do than fight imaginary pirates!

A busy (yester)day in Liberty;
There's a lot to report, so I'll cut down to the facts.
Myself and Captain Elwood caught three ships, two Lane Hacker Broadswords and a Sabre, engaged in the act of piracy of a lawful trading vessel along the lane from Riverside Station to the New York jump gate. Since this was the case, I wasted no time and gave the order to destroy the offending ships, a task that was achieved quickly with one kill each. The Sabre pilot, undetered by the categorical failure of his peers, continued to battle on whilst a steady stream of friendly reinforcements arrived. Most were told to stand by and watch the Lane Hacker Outcast Destroyer hovering within targetting range. A few decided not to heed this order, which forced my hand. A pilot named XimiX in particular ignored repeated disengagement orders from myself, and was dealt with by force.
As Captain Elwood was finishing the Sabre up, three Reapers of Sirius ships popped up on the scanner and liberally engaged our force standing by. Elwood claimed one of the three, Juan Zavala, in short order, whilst the Gunboat EM and his assigned wing started by clearing the offenders. However, an inexperienced naval pilot named Private Dice managed to disable my ship, another ship and his own with two consecutive nova torpedoes. From there, the battle swiftly reversed its course, our remaining forces making a tactical retreat to Riverside. Bravely, Commander Anderson entered the fray to cover the retreat of the remnant of our force, butchered by friendly fire. He lost his ship, but his escape pod reached Riverside shortly thereafter.
I found myself sitting in Elwood's hold whilst he joined Admiral Hale to deal with a pair of destroyer class vessels in orbit above Manhattan, which they both made short work of. All the while, listening to Curtis' incessant crowing and lack of vocal control when adressing his superiors, particularly myself.
Being kindly dropped off on Norfolk Shipyard, where my Guardian lay in wait, we proceeded again back to Manhattan, where Admiral Hale had encountered fresh foes willing to throw themselves against the might of the navy. Myself and Captain Elwood quickly intervened and turned the tide of the new skirmish, running down those who tried to flee and destroying those who did not.
Regarding the request for additional manpower to be shifted to the Pittsburgh area;
For now, no forces will be permanently deployed at Planet Pittsburgh. It is one trade lane away from Fort Bush, and easily accessable by the local and numerous New York garrison. Ignore threats of legal action and civil unrest. Take neccessary action if threatened by the use of force or by any intent to commit illegal actions such as treason.
Additionally;
Captain Elwood;
You are gifted with an exceptional amount of luck, having Admiral Hale intervene just before you pushed your luck one step too far. If I get any more of your witty banter, you can expect to be incarcerated.

Greetings. A week's report is as follows:
We had many pirate contacts including Cartel, Hellfire Legion and Liberty Rogues amassing within sensor range of Planet Houston. The bombers quickly took out Captain Pewpew and Obvious in their LABCs and SLICE in a gunboat. However, our forces scored kills against the bombers until Harvesters arrived with several of their AI ships and a gunboat. The gunboat was taken down quickly and the dogfight continued. I was hit and had to bug out due to a weapons malfunction with some information of the fight lost unfortunately.

Yesterday, as Commodore Robinson had already reported, Captain Elwood, Admiral Hale, and I along with the Commodore went on several patrols. While I was on patrol in Texas, a Barghest bomber named Antiquity accosted me along the lanes. After refusing to leave the area, we engaged in a furball. When the bomber took heavy damage, his friend Death.Runner's.Slave in a Raven's Talon arrived to assist. The bomber was taken out and Runner and I dueled until he was taken out.

Also yesterday, I was about to meet up with the rest of the patrol in California until I ran into 2 RoS and an outcast named Orpheus_Descending. RoS Schiff_Toha and Lohingren were fighting [*USI*]M.Trenton[VP], Desert Storm and Bura. Once Dester Storm was taken out, I moved in to assist. The fight lasted around 15 minutes until the two RoS damaged my ship and forced me to eject.
Today, we had many LPI officers on patrol along with several LSF. Commander Casero and I joined them in patrol and found the Outcast Destroyer El_Matador along with the outcast gunship Death.Runner. They had been harassing many citizens around New York today including destroying one of the Sentinel units of the LPI. Intelligence located the outcasts above Planet Pittsburgh. We moved in with several gunboats along with bombers and quickly took out the threat.

Admirals,
After falling victim to mind interfacing with a nomad yesterday, Lieutenant Commander Jack Malrone has been put in a drug-induced coma for his own safety and the safety of those around him. The doctors have relayed to me the serious condition the Commander is in and that he may never fully recover. Its up to him alone to sort out the mess the nomad has created within his brain. If he fails to do so, his consciousness may be lost forever.
You will be pleased to know that his Upholder bomber is still in fully operational conditon.
Regards from the Liaison to Public Affairs,
Col. Geoff Parker

Report: San Francisco's victory in Hudson.
We were in the texas system when the alarms were sounded. After having to retreat from the legendary Ravensburg earlier this week, but leaving it incredibly weak as we activated Hades, we were eager to re-assert our authority over the Rhienland Military.
The chance presented itself with the sighting of the battleship Landskron.
It was a sight to behold, with Capital Grade 8 armor adorning it's hulls, according to my sensor officer, and with 18 turrets. We promptly engaged the ship, and before long were victorious. The massive hulk of the Landskron exploded over several minutes. Escape pods shot from the sides of the behemoth as it wrenched itself to pieces, secondary explosions tearing the armor from itself. Until finally, the wreck fell silent.
We slowly turned, and viewed the pieces of the wreck float away.
A true victory for the Libertonian forces today. My chief engineer report's that we have 47% of hull left, and we are en route to San Jacinto for repairs.
For Liberty!
-Seth
