Evening Officers,

Dublin Patrol - Molly Bomber, ExtraWings

In the late hours earlier this week I decided to preform a patrol throughout Dublin, from, Leeds, where i have originally be stationed. Entering through the Leeds system my intention was to get a jump on any pirates currently at the system. This intention turned up true, when I managed to catch a Molly by the name of "ExtraWings". I had met this pirate twice before and was confident that I could best him yet again. I attempted to gain an insight into the intentions of the Molly, however to no amends and in the end it ended up in a quickly resolved fire fight.

Without too many grazes I managed to destroy the bomber. However with some of my reasources drain I thought it best to make my way back to the Essex.

Dublin Patrol - Gaian Bomber, [U]Waran

This trip back however was cut short when I became away of a Gaian bomber moving towards Essex, by the name of [U]Waran. I moved into intercept the bomber, using a cruise disruptor to cut its cruising speed. This worked and I demanded that the Gaian cut its engines and prepare to be questioned. However the Gaiain made it clear it had no intention of stopping, and continued on its current course, so i was forced to open fire. The bomber thrusted away from me, at first i was unsure on its intended destination - my assumption was that it was heading off in a random directions simply to escape me. It quickly became clear to me however that the bomber was, and had orignally been, moving into assist a second Gaian fighter (Armed with an Eagle) - which was locked in a fight with a Bounty Hunter gunship, by the name of 'Ape'. Although i was down on ammunition and (a small protion) or nanobots/batteries, I was sure that my skill with a fighter would be more than enough too handle both of the threats. Following this assumption i followed the bomber, hazarding it with fire.
Within moments it had reached the gunship, i made sure to continue firing on the bomber as i was definite that it would be the greatest danger to the gunship, and i had already managed to do a good portion of damage to it before hand.
During the fighting, to my recollection, - with the gunship being quite badly damaged before i arrived - the gunship was destroyed a few minutes before the bomber.

Although I managed to deal a great deal of damage to the bomber target I fear that it was his own error that penultimately caused his destruction.

Dublin Patrol - Gaian Fighter, Thomas Webb

As soon as the bomber was destroyed I moved my attention onto the fighter, by this point in the fight we had been fighting pretty much around the Essex, alowing the gunners to get off a few pot shots at the fighter.
We continued fighting near the Essex for a few minutes before the Gaian fighter desided it would be more tactical to move away from the Battleship, a fair enough move. I moved into pursue however held a position of about 3,000 metres from the fighter in order to exchange a few brief words.

Over all a pretty standard day in Dublin i'd have to say. Although it was abit of a surprise to see Gaians this far away from Edinburgh, most likely because of the Gallic advances.

Subject: A rescue and an escalation

Good evening officers of the fleet,

I was on patrol today together with Ensign Derek Kerr. Ensign Kerr had the lead and we moved to Dublin to start our patrol. There were many contacts there but nothing significant. A calm and silent Dublin, but what only turned to be the silence before the storm.

Via an encrypted comm channel I received a distress call from a Cryer transport caught behind enemy lines in Edinburgh. During the Gallia raid on Perth station the captain and his crew managed to evade the Gallian marines after a short firefight on board. They undocked and went for cover, contacting us.

After we had established contact, the captain stated that he wanted to jump out via the Leeds gate. Knowing that a Gallia battleship was guarding that gate we advised against it. It was Ensign Derek Kerr that came up with the solution: Let the Cryer jump into Dublin.

So we jumped from Dublin into Edinburgh and secured the jumphole. After securing it Ensign Kerr went out the collect the trader as the trader was already seeing a GNF on his scanner. However, the GNF did not pursue at first and sent out an order to patrol the system. It was clear we needed to get out in a hurry.

We soon met up again at the Dublin jumphole and jumped. On the other side the captain thanked us again and again for our work. Satisfied, we both turned towards the Essex and bid the trader farewell.

Trader ID

Soon after the trader jumped toward New London, the Essex contacted us. The bridge informed us that someone had followed us through. We turned back and came into contact with a Gallia bomber. Hostilities immediately erupted as another contact turned up on the scanner.

The bomber was backed up by a much larger battleship the "Esprit_immonde". Immediately the flaks of the large ship opened fire on us. Amazingly we managed to stay up on our feet under the rain of flak, presumably the gunnery crew of the ship was not well trained.

To bring the battleship out of balance we lured it into the asteroid field at Battleship Hood where the escalation began... Soon two bombers with Labrise| signature joined the fight targeting us. The fight became harder and harder but we managed to damage the Gallia bomber real good.
More and more contacts now appeared on our scanners. The cavalry had arrived! Two molly snubs a molly bomber and a molly gunboat had come to help us.
Unfortunately they couldn't best the Labrise| bombers as their snubs and bomber were soon taken out.

The remaining Molly forces soon ran toward Londonderry, leaving us to fend for ourselves. Together me and ensign Kerr made a last stand but in vain as our ships were both destroyed.
Fast response teams from the Essex were able to recover the following data from our wrecks:

I am still recovering from the wounds of today's events. I have some burns on my hands and arms from my console that short-circuitted just before I ejected. The medical officer says that i should rest a few days but I will have none of that!

And my recorded Attitude level, to my knowledge is 3

I am aware of some sort of issue involving the current spaces for lieutenant and i am unsure whether or not this has been resolved.

Some of this information, flight times and reports, have not as of yet been added into the Armed forces database this is because of a minor issue involving the input of data, i appologies for this inconvinience and am currently doing my best to rectify it.

With best regards, and wish a good New Year to everyone in the Armed Forces.

First of all, I have to mention that in my patrol in Dublin, I have encountered a LaBrise pirate bomber called Sexy.Warrior. I immediately took care of him, and my new ship, a dragoon heavy fighter brought me superiority in the fight. A FTU miner came to assist me when the criminal was almost dry of nanobots. Warrior decided to engage a more easier target, but he found out that this will end up bad. In less then 1 minute, he went down.

Soon after, I regrouped at Planet Leeds with members from the Convoy to initiate a strike attack against a bunch of royalist bombers who already destroyed a gunboat. We stroked, and managed to burn down 2 of their bombers, 3 more being well damaged. We had to end up our assault, as 2 battleships come up to assist the galics who also recieved fighter support.
I went back to Planet Leeds, and from now on Lt.Derek.Kerr took command of our new defense group.

Subject: Gallic assault in Leeds

Good Afternoon, gentlemen.

A few short hours ago I brought my ship out of its hanger in Station Winchester and was about begin my patrol when I became aware of a transition from Ensign Wayne Johnson. He informed me that he was returning from an assault on Edinburgh along with some Convoy ships. I was unsure who his CO was giving him the order to assault Edinburgh however i dare say whatever his reasons were his recon gave us some valuable information on a possible Gallic assault.
He returned to Leeds and informed me of this strike force, from that point on, and unaware of where they may strike from, I position scout at all the major entrances from Edinburgh; one at the jump gate in Leeds, one at the jump hole in Leeds and on in the jump hole in Dublin. Where as the main bulk of our force would remain at Planet Leeds able to quickly assist any of the position from which they entered.
This plan however was short lived at two bomber appeared out from the direction of the jump gate. As soon as I realised the two lone bombers were alone I ordered the ships open fire on the two of them and a short fire fight ensued. In all fair there stomachs got the best of them in the end and as one of the fighters began to run. Splitting the group in two i went along with two Convoy ships to catch the fleeing ship, leaving Ensign Johnson and another secondary fleet ship to deal with the other bomber.
A few minutes later we returned victorious with the bomber we had been after was stopped dead in its tracks. We came back to see the other bomber still alive and engaged with the secondary fleet ship. Realising the bomber may panic and run should we swarm over it I order all other ships to stand down - as from what i could see the fight was very much in his favour.
Another fight appeared to ensue while I was watching the secondary fleet ship, between another lone Gallic ship and a Convoy fighter by the name of Wyra.
Both fights turned up triumphant and I am quite sure all the fighters involved feel a great deal of pride in themselves, and if they don't they most certainly should.

At the end of the fight we became aware of a Ronin ship which had offered some fire near the end of the fight. He handed over several high prized Gallic officers, including several gunboat Captains and Cruiser Commanders along with an assortment of fighter pilots.
He mentioned that he had been given order by his Emperor to hand over some of the Gallic pilots they had captured in the form of a good will gesture towards Bretonia.
I accepted the pilots and notified him of the appreciation felt towards such a gesture.

Thankfully Gallia has gain no more land today and lost a good few fighters trying. [Image: Sam-Message.jpg]

For the past couple of weeks I have been hearing reports of Gallic attack wings around planet Leeds, so this evening the HMS-Bristol destroyer launched a patrol of our own. We did in fact encounter several of the low-level Gallic destroyer wings, and successfully dispatched them all.

I would not normally bother reporting this information, however a small group of Gallic civilian bombers with Mercenary ID papers also appeared and began to harrass the Bristol and nearby ships, and felt you should know the details. At first there was only one ship named Miaou, who tried to distract me from the destroyer wings by bumping my ship, shooting in my direction, and saying the word "Miaou" over and over in response to all attampts at discourse. Shortly another three ships with neutral civilian IFF appeared, among them were Eau.de.Toilette and En.Passant, another pair of Gallic civilian bombers with Mercenary papers.

Since the ships were becoming more menacing in their techniques and numbers, I decided to seize the momentum and fired a few shots at Miaou with my newly-installed Solaris turrets, rapidly dropping his shields, then told them to leave the area. Rather than take the opportunity to be smart, they decided to engage in open hostilities and began to attack. Within a couple of minutes, En.Passant had killed himself with his own Nova torpedo, and the other two fled towards the Tau-31 gate.

Below is an (edited) log from the ships communications ocmputer. I have removed the names of other ships that were in the area.

Ensign Wayne Johnson,

[font=Tahoma] While I was having a beer at Battleship Essex, I received an emergency distress call from an unknown ship around Battleship Hood, so I quickly equipped and launched in space. When I got close to the location the emergency call was coming from, to my surprise, I saw 2 nomad squirels engaging IMG miners. Their nomad corpses seemed pretty evolved, and I quickly recognized that 1 of them one of them is like a genetic material gunboat, and the other, the size of a Bretonia Destroyer. Most of my internal equipment got jammed, but my guns were still functional so I proceed to purge them. Unfortunately, 3 of the img miners ships were destroyed before the fight was over. Then, all my ship's systems went back to normal so I returned on Battleship Essex for further investigation if my mind is still integral.
Oh... I think I forget telling you from whom was the distress call... to my surprise, it was a molly light fighter, piloted by Cynthia Morgan who has done a great job out there.
This should be all for now, and I will still keep my eyes open for further nomads in the area. In the last time, it seems that Dublin presents a grate interest for them, after the destruction of one mother ship, a maraduk.
There is a log of my conversation out there and the image I managed to take with my half jammed camera.

Subject: Gallic Bomber strike, Leeds

Good Afternoon, gentlemen

Earlier today i was on patrol in the Leeds system, where I became aware of a Council battleship (Battlestar_Gemini) attempting to Breach through the borders. I had encountered this Battleship before and was tired of its constant attempts to breach our border without prior authoriation. As I explain the reasons to the battleship and demanded its removal from Bretonian space I ntocied a Gallic bomber on an intercept course of our current position. I was at this time being accomponied by the HMS-Thunderer and was aware of the threats the bombers posed. Realising this i left the HMS-Thunderer (A battleship) to deal with the Council Battleship and moved off too intercept the bomber. I gave the bomber one chance to do what Gallics do best and run off back to Gallia, primarily due to the threat it posed to the HMS-Thunderer.

Clearly ignoring the offer they immediatly opened fire on the Battleship and in retaliation I opened fire on the bomber. A few seconds into the fight a second bomber, also of Gallic design, by the name of Morris Goodman, appeared and began also opening fire on the HMS-Thunderer. I did my best to keep the two bombers at bay however i was evidently at a loss. Then the most fortunate event occured, a Gaian gunboat by the name off Hirohito Hayabusa offered his aid against the two Gallic bomber. Without out many other options I openly accepted any aid he had to offer and he too joined the fray. Bit by bit we picked off at he bomber however we were slowly on a loosing slope with the HMS-Thunderer who was having trouble with dodging the bomber's Antimatters. Realising this I ordered the HMS-Thunderer to break off, but not to enter cruise - least it be caught without its power, and unable to defened itself. It was at this point that the second Gallic bomber had a change of heart and broke off, fleeing for its life.

The fighting continued until Captain Lawrence Winters and Commander Jonathan Sinclair appeared, and began to assist us in the fighting. The Captain quickly took command and began to spearhead our assault on the three bombers. Captain Winters reinforced the point of the HMS-Thunderers need to "Stand down" and gave instructions on how the Battleship could better avoid the Antimatters which had been causing it issues. It was at this moment at two more Gallic ships came into visual range, a LaBrise vessel by the name of Veronique Roux and another Gallic naval vessel by the name of LaRage. They both took a similar strategy too the previouse bomber and aimed for the battleship.
Somewhere into the fight an armed forces ship, by the name of Martin White evidently from the second fleet, moved in and attempted to assist in our assault of the bombers.

With our combined efforts we managed to tear away at the Gallic bombers. The first to fall was the LaBrise ship.

....Uploading Visual File....

....Uploading Complete....

The second to fall was Goodman, shot down by Commander Sinclair, afew minutes after the destruction of the the LaBrise vessel.
It was a few moments after the Gallic vessels destruction that the HMS-Thunderer was struck by an Antimatter near its rear engines and a series of internal expolisions could be heard from the fighters surrounding the battleship and the battleship was unltimatly torn apart vy these explosions which appeard to have continued through the length of the ship

The third ship, LaRage, was shot down by a ship from second fleet. This had taken abit longer, since seeing both of his comrads shot down must have made him loose his nerve, because he broke off and attempted to flee towards the smoke field near the Dublin jump hole, in Leeds.

These are all the images I managed to take of the fighting.
