From: Bretonia Armed Force High Command
Subject: Forming two commando's squad's

Due to recent unfortunate events regarding ma'am Tarrant's capture and kidnaping, the following decision was made.

150 volunteers from Leeds territory defense force, Yorkshire 106th light infantry regiment will receive training in:

Space station's boarding, close combat tactic, combat in closed space and ship/station basics. Training will be shortened to a period of two weeks in which newly formed 89th and 135th commando's squads must achieve complete success in adopting new skills and tactic.

Because of lack of resources and ships, the Armed Forces have assigned only two obsolete Cylisde transport class under commando command.
Ship callsigns are to be altered to BAF|HMS-Sword and BAF|HMS-Gold. Command of newly formed unit was transferred from Leeds territory defense force to Bretonia Armed Force.

Long story short, 89th and 135th squads lack commanding officer from ranks of Armed Force.

All officers above Lt. Commander rank can apply for this duty. One of the first tasks will be to take part in the training and preparing the men for space conditions, and then lead them to target.
Playing with open hand, chances for success and returning back home, are very low.

All men who have already assigned to two commando squads joined on their free will.

Future task force will be transferred under 8th Great York fleet command for extra combat experience.

[Subject: Commando Squadrons]

Sirs.

I'm willing to risk my life to go in and save the Countess Lafiel Tarrant. I wish to sign up for command of the 89th Task Force. I know the chances of survival are low. But I believe that it's time I do something good for the Armed Forces. If I die, well, you lads can find another pilot. If I live, all the better for us. I'm not taking 'No' for an answer. I've came to terms with myself and have agreed to carry out the mission to my very best.

However, I'll have some down time in my fighter and other ships as the software is currently being updated. I will, however, take a few courses in close quarters combat, as well as tactical station boarding.

Signed,

Commander Austin Goodmen

Subject: Noteworthy Patrol

Last week's patrols have been quite interesting, to say the least.

First, I would like to note the assistance of Freelancer Lightwing and Fox.McCloud in destroying several Corsair and Molly ships. They assisted our personnel skillfully and should be noted. Below are the kill cams in order.

Confirmed Kills

Next, we encountered two Rheinland gunboats, who claimed to be escorting miners in Dublin. They left with our command, but claimed they would make a request to reenter soon. Below is a camera shot of the ships.

Rheinland Gunboats

In the same system, our patrol came across The_Apache, who has been known for smuggling gold to the Mollies. After a brief confrontation he agreed to pay four million credits for his crimes.

Payment Documentation

Finally, and perhaps most interestingly, I encountered a Buccaneer in New London. He fled, but I noticed he was carrying Kusari weapons. We should be alert for smuggling between the Kusari and Buccaneers.

Documentation

That concludes the report.

Sirs!

I am hereby requesting to join Commander Goodmen in the operations of the 89th Task Force to rescue Countess Tarrant. I know what I'm doing, and I wish to prove that I can do more for the Armed Forces then just being a target practice for Kusari Naval ships and a reason for criminals and civilians to wonder about how I got into the Armed Forces.

My ships are fully loaded and are ready to move out whenever is needed.

With respect,
Lieutenant Kenji Shinoda

You chaps want to launch an investigation into me responding to a hail from a Transport that was being pirated in Liberty proper, then I do believe the following scan will be more then enough to prove to you chaps that I was doing the right thing.

IDENTIFICATION: Ensign Deneth Aleski
TARGET: Admiralty Board
SUBJECT: Application for the 89th Task Force

Sirs, Distinguished members.

I volunteer to be part of the 89th Task Force commanded by Commander Goodmen, with mandate to rescue Countess Tarrant. I am fully aware of the implications of participating in such a mission and I have made the decision out of my own free will. The Armed Forces and the Kingdom of Bretonia took me in when I had lost everything and made something out of me. Now is the time for me to return the favour.

I am ready for any additional training and my Templar is in prime combat readiness.

Respectfully,
Ensign Wilhelm Deneth Aleski

Subject: Updates

Both squads commenced basic training (lead by Lt. Hill, 2nd Army reserve staff) described in first communication. After a two weeks period, they will be shipped out to York battle fleet for additional experience, after which we hope, they will be ready for any task that needs to be done. And here comes the 'Tarrant case' of course. If things go badly, and they usually do, you will be informed and briefed in time.

Ensign Deneth Aleski and Lt. Kenji Shinoda are transferred under Commander's Goodmen command, and later on, into 89th squad.

HMS Sword and HMS Gold, two transport ships, will be transferred from logistical support unit, to your command, Cdr. Goodmen, in few days lads.

Learn your way around those ships, and learn something useful while serving with York fleet.
Both 89th and 135th will join you shortly for additional training.

That is all for now.
