Good day BAF DIS,

Yesterday Dendol Mark, HMS Oxford captain, has reported me a successful sabotage operation at the EFL New London gate using our capital ship. The operation leaded to bring a Gallic fleet (Composed by light capital vessels and fighters) against ours and attracted the attention of other guys who didn't interfere with our work and our battle. The gallic fleet was outnumbered but it was severely advantaged in movement, agility and tactics; but after 2 hours of intense fight, we managed to get the better. The complete report isn't available for lack of information since we hadn't time even to set/make other camera shots. I'm so sorry.

This report is about the salvage operation that took place today in the Southampton Debris Field.

After the catastrophic defeat our fleet endured in Leeds, as I was told, I was ordered to dispatch the Diligence, a repair ship, to the B3/4 sector of New London, into the Southampton Debris Field. I was to find the wreckage of a Nessie-class battleship lost in the Battle of Plymouth in 573 AS. There are three in the field, and this one, the furthest, had not yet been salvaged, at least not by us. I departed with my escort of Commander Jessica Hunter, in a Challenger. Originally I had problems identifying it from other pieces of scrap, but eventually I landed my glance on it. It was in a very bad shape, as if it had collided with the pieces of scrap many times since 573 AS. It looked as if someone had already been there before us, and indeed, we spotted a couple of Corsair rookies (who Commander Huntr quickly handled) and two Junker CSVs. However, it had been salvaged very haphazardly, as if no one had bothered to remain there for some time and study it, but just took what they saw first and left. I found a number of usable hull panels, which I grasped with my ship's clutches. However, upon further scanning the surroundings, I found a large, metal crate nearby. It had a few holes inside, either from collisions, battle damage (if it was part of the wreckage), or, most likely, someone had tried to open it before us. I could see that something was inside through the holes, but not what, so I tried to torch through it with my ship's transport turrets, but they barely made a scratch. So, I made some distance and asked Commander Hunter to fire a SNAC at one of its corners (not the middle so to avoid damaging what is inside). The SNAC got through. Inside it was rather preserved and the inscriptions testified that it was an ammunition storage. However, there was no ammunition inside, and that is how close both of us were to being blasted to pieces. Instead, I found two large turrets. I extracted them, not without issues, and I had to return the Nessie her hull panels in order to take these weapons. Then I took them to Southampton, escorted by Hunter. We maintained radio silence while passing through the area frequented by patrols from the Castres. We turned our radios on again when we reached Southampton, and then docked. I left restoring the turrets, if it is possible, to the BMM.

Good evening, Admiral.

Thank you for your welcome. As for the matter of Lieutenant Victor Steiner, I see him as a soldier, a capable one, with much promise. And you do well understand, as someone in command, you must cultivate that promise as well surround yourself with capable people so that our contribution to Bretonia is above reproach and effective.

While I do know by heart that the Bretonian Armed Forces is filled with such, I was away for the better part of a year, and Bretonia cannot wait for me to analyse, study, measure and weight the people that can aid me in my work, to the best of my capabilities.

Thus, I requested someone that I do know is such. Thank you kindly for your attention.

With regards,

Kaze Nelson Reidman Dagon
Captain
Bretonian Armed Forces
