Good day sirs, Today is a grave day and one i shall mourn for a long time to come.

I started todays active duty flying in the Templar. One undocked from Essex and started my patrols. An S.O.S call was heard over the comms with a location so i headed off at full cruise only to find a fool in a transport with full mining lasers under attack from molly rookies. Suffice to say that microscopic incident was dealth with very quicky and after informing the transport to at least fit one normal laser i headed back to the essex.

Upon returning to the Essex a Zoner vessel S.E.F~Patrician was within the "no fly zone" around the essex (this is not my first dealings with this very argumentative and difficult pilot over this matter)

My attempts to move the ship along had no effect " i can be here when there is no trouble" was his words and he did not make any effort to obey my instructions... so i fired one volley into his shield. The man had the cheek to threaten me with destruction if this happened again...

Knowing full well that a templar was not going to be sufficiant in this situation i called in the Gunship Revenge.

The zoner craft was yes still inside the boundary of the Essex. Being a smart ensign and knowing full well what was to come from this encounter i ordered the recording of the communications.

Communication log 1
Communication log 2

Shortly after this i am forced to put warning shots into the shield of the zoner craft to show the BAF means buisness when it gives an order and is being refused. More conversation takes place.

This conversation was cut short by the arrival of a corsair gunboat 4 clicks off the essex who had apparently come to destroy the Revenge. Suffice it to say the gunboat was no match for The Revenge and that ship was quickly despatched back to the hole it came from. Apologies for lack of guncam shots but my cameras where damaged in the battle.

So... i return to the Essex and yes the zoner craft is STILL disobeying my orders and is STILL inside the no fly zone.
Once again i engage in conversation with the pilot when the HMS~Archangel shows up. It is about this point the zoner showed his true colours, Making what can only be described as a monumental communications error. The man claimed it was to call a wing of his for a escort .. im sure you can see from the intercepted signal this is not the case. He clearly states " HE is hiding at the essex like a coward" i see no mention of himself sirs only myself.

Traitor
Traitor 1
Traitor 2

Strange how the pilot of the Archangel "missed" that sirs. Maybe the man should not be in charge of such a expensive piece of miltary hardware.

Now sirs it gets tricky as you can see from the recordings. Personally i think the corsair was called in by the Patrician ( but it is not my place to surmise ) But i do know the pilot of the archangel acted in a manner unbeffitting an officer of the crown and opened fire on The Revenge with no evidence or a bloody clue what was going on !

Sadly under fire from mortars and cruiser guns AND the patrician The Revenge and her crew were lost. It is a sad day indeed when an Ensign can not go about his duties without getting shot by his own forces.

Revenge Down

..... Shocking sirs ..... i am truly sorry to have to write this report.

To the Honorable Fleet Masters of the Bretonian Armed Forces;

I am writing this message in order to seek confirmation about a fleet directive involving the said no-fly zone around the Essex; though myself and other officers of the Armed Forces have attempted to maintain said zone many civilians are being recalcitrant due to lack of publicity surrounding such an order.

The questions are thus: has the Admirality approved a no-fly zone for the Essex and if so a) At what distance should civilians be kept? b) Are there any factional permissions to enter the vicinity of the Essex (Bounty Hunters, etc.)? and c) What penalties are slated for violating said zone?

If the Admirality could shed some light on this matter it would be greatly appreciated.

For Queen and Country,

Ensign Ian Sinclair of the Bretonian Cambridge Fleet

Well now those latrines are shining i can give my report.

Where to start .... Dublin bloody Dublin while it is most certainly the hotbed of activity i need to feed my cravings for action, It is also the source of many headaches.

This report is about an incident that occured whilst guarding a BMM mining team around the H4 region of Dublin, When i arrived with said team i counted no less than 11 ships in the surrounding area, A scanning frenzy ensued and in those scans i saw 2 bretonian army pilots locked in a freelancer hold. With communications coming in from the surrounding ships it was hard to tell who was saying what to whom so i concentrated on that ship.

I sent a comms message asking for the return of said pilots and then watched as the ship carried on off into the distance. It is at this time i made the decision to fire a warning shot with my Challengers SNAC. Having recently been hard at training with this weapon my snapped shot was a little to close to the mark and hit the ship around the same time its shields where dropped.

Destroying the ship and sending its pilot tumbling into a pod was the last thing on my mind but alas that is the events that occured. I have since apologised to the pilot of the craft as he was rightly irate and still await my punishment from LT Feya.

( on the plus side it was a bloody good shot unaimed )

Clark feeling stupid and flat, out.

Sirs,
It is with a heavy heart that i have to report the news of the destruction of the Gunboat HMS-Rosyth with the loss of 22 of her crew.
As any serving member of Her Majesties Forces will attest, getting a crew to man one of these vessels is hard enough but to lose her in a way that beggers believe ? i am a loss for words, but i will try to explain the circumstances.

On patrol in the Newcastle system, as gunboat type vessels are not advised to enter fleet combat, i docked at the Ark Royal to refeul and pick up prisoners to take to a more secure location planetside. These prisoners consisted of Gain, pirate and some Mollys.
On the return to the Leeds system, right at the jumpgate, i ran across a Naval Forces Chimmie who just flew around making no sense at all to me. Shortly after an IKN cruiser arrived in system as well as another KPT vessel who engaged the Rosyth. With all three enemy ships engaging me we really never stood a chance.

With sadness in my heart i have to report the loss of 22 members of the crew of the Rosyth. A further 12 and myself managed to reach the escape pods in time and ar now on Planet Leeds to recover and get some medical aid.

I have to report, however, that at least one of the enemy combatants was kitted out in a most peculier way. The guncam images of this where saved by our escape pod and have only now been reported to me as i recover.
I am sending links to these in this transmission. Make of them as you will.

Good day Fleet Admiral Ralston, sir!

I am really sorry to write such kind of a report, but it seems someone is going after the footsteps of the dead ensign Cogwarks. It seems this time, the traitor is not from the official armed forces group, its one of the reservists. His name was "xserver", a challenger bomber was his ship. Here I will mark some guncams of the procedures, we had to take, in order to quickly neutralize him. The charges are: "Direct insult on high ranked officer" , "Refusion to follow given orders" , " Opening fire on Officer of the Crown", " Cursing the Officer of the Crown by using a coarse language"

-Evidence 1
-Evidence 2
-Evidence 3

I know that, you will take the urgent matters to deal with this...traitor as soon as possible.

Your's to command,
Lt.Cdr. Firmus Piett

RE : Clarification of Protocols, Civilians in the Vicinity of Battleship Essex, Dublin

Ladies and Gentlemen, Officers of the Armed Forces

-When Dublin is relatively secure (rare as that may be) civilians are to be encouraged to not congregate around the Essex, since their presence conflicts with military traffic, however, if those civilians are non-compliant, firing upon them is never an option; after all, their protection is one of our primary concerns, and firing upon them certainly contradicts that.

-When Dublin is inundated with enemies then civilians are to be ordered to leave the system for their own protection, via the New London Jumpgate. If a safe path to that jumpgate is not available, they may have to linger at the Essex for their protection, unfortunately, even though that may disrupt our military operations.

Trusting the above is sufficiently clear.

On these Orders, I place my hand and seal.

Fleet Admiral James Ralston.

PS : Ensign Clark, please try to not kill civilians. They are a bother, but their taxes pay our wages, and there is a pesky Constitution document we have to concern ourselves with.

RE : Reservist xserver, foul language

Lt Commander Firmus Piett

Thank you for this report regarding the foul-mouthed reservist whose conduct was certainly not becoming of an officer.

Sadly, I do not have the authority to tazer-flog or otherwise discipline a member of the reserves in that way, for that particular offense. It's that pesky Constitution thing again.

I do recall a legend that the Mandalorians hold true; that those who use foul language on open communications would, by befouling Sirius herself, awaken the Ad'min Sweet Merciless Cay'lith, who would tazer-flog them mightily till they repented of their sins.

Probably superstitious bunkum, but one hopes such a thing is true.

Ensign Vermillion, reporting in.

During my usual patrol route, I recieved reports from the reserve fleet's HMS Enterprise, a destroyer-class vessel, of Reavers in the Dublin system. I joined up with the vessel, and saw two Reavers, joined shortly after by a third, a forth and a freelancer going by the name of Anna McCarthy. After a short staredown and the Enterprise starting to head back towards the Essex they engaged me, before switching targets to the destroyer which had turned around to assist.

Unfortunately the Enterprise was knocked out of commission, followed shortly by a gunboat (which appeared to be under the control of an AI that had decided to engage the Reavers). This left me alone against the five enemy ships, plus a number of Hogosha vessels that had arrived and were standing by nearby. After some continued combat I knew that there was nothing I could do against them, and I managed to disengage under heavy fire and retreat to the New London system.

Apologies for bringing this terrible loss to your attention.

Sarah sat back from the terminal, and let out a deep sigh. Maybe I should have mentioned that, she thought, looking down at her hands. During the combat, when she'd realised she was the only one left, they'd gone completely numb. She could hardly control her ship in order to escape from the Reavers, and all that laser fire aimed in her direction...

She clenched her hands a couple of times, glad to have the feeling back in them. She'd never been so terrified in her life.
